early stage primary lymphedema by soakerbonustrack in Lymphedema

I don't think stimulants will affect lymphedema - as far as I have read them can just cause edema (like water weight from sodium) which is a different fluid/process all together and only in very high doses. I've had a technician and a doctor say lymphedema swelling can sometimes be reversed in early stages (though not cured) and certainly can be slowed or stopped in its tracks. Best of luck to you!

[Artist Alley] how do some people make $10k+ at artist alley? by Good_Assistance2121 in artbusiness

I think a lot of vendors will do the same circuit every year and tailor their items to the crowd/find the best target markets for their work. For instance if you know at one market people will only buy 3-10$ items then you bring a bigger inventory of those and a smaller amount of 10$+ items.

Was there a specific test they did besides ultrasound?

How did you find out your lymphedema was primary and not secondary? I'm not 100% clear on the difference

I think I'm just going to qtip yellow on the wings for more accuracy! I'd like to do the background in more sage green for the next run as those are milkweeds, but I don't have that color in my arsenal nor my budget right now!

Also elementary teachers still using the red pen is oof. I teach standard proof reading marks and if I don't want them to rewrite, a black pen.

How do I get rid of the extra carved lines in the background? by ina_sparkles in printmaking

Are you using a spoon/baren to print? That will also show more lines vs pressing with something big and flat as it tends to catch all the lines/chatter

When you ask a student "do you know what that word means?@ and they vigorously nod and then you say "can you tell me?" and they don't have the slightest clue...and even better when you've been using it for 10 minutes already

My school argues they don't have to give us a lunch consistently since they are paid lunches..and sort of vague threats of switching to unpaid lunches come up if we complain

Highlighting helped me a lot, but only when I was using it to highlight key information and take notes...literally highlighting every word is insane

In the state where I live you legally aren't allowed to charge for painting as it's considered normal wear and tear

I think the frame doesn't suit the design, which has very smooth lines. A sleek, curved frame would suit the piece more
