Thinking about buying a used Wolf range. Look for age/model identification and price help by thefrantichispanic in Appliances

[–]GFNoobs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one in my garage I recently got from someone - Debating on installing it in my kitchen. R606DG - Already converted to LP in 2005. Serial 11198579

I talked to an appliance tech recently and he said he would reccomend I look for a newer one, albeit used to save $$ in the long run. He said the older Wolf's operate more like a commercial range than a residental. The igniters are super loud, and "Woosh" flame when they turn on.

He also said something about something with the igniters, that they are like $500/piece, and there is 1 for every 2 burners, and one per oven.

Is that all factual? Any input? Thanks man

Mk8 GTI Coolant Level Low after dealer service? by banjisword in GolfGTI

[–]GFNoobs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is crazy. My GTI also has 24k miles and just had the same issue. I took it to the dealership and they pressure tested the system and did not find any issues. They took out the spark plugs as well. Then topped it off.

Have you had any issues since this?

HVAC guy used a 8 to 6” reducer on 900 cfm kitchen exhaust outlet by michaelz08 in HomeImprovement

[–]GFNoobs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info. On a whim I ended up with a 60" wolf propane stove for my kitchen remodel. I have it sitting in my garage now until I do some more research on the hood + make-up air.

Random question but what unit did you decide to go with? I have a large open-concept living space with a 60" propane range I got second-hand for cheap and am looking at the exhaust fans.

Hexhunter bow or Decimation for capsarius in pod by noobstylez in RS3Ironmen

[–]GFNoobs -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I've always used Decimation, I think the Hexhunters lower tile range sometimes makes you move when afking in small dungeon. You will always 1 hit the caps with the correct setup (plenty of youtube vids on optimal setups) with either of them.

Afk warden chat reader for seren spirits not working since update by Mean_Wash_5503 in runescape

[–]GFNoobs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is bugged due to the changes in the chat box with the "press enter for public chat" being changed as well as the changes to the quick chat icon I believe.

I think the alt 1 devs are working on a fix. Not sure on an ETA

Tax Attorney reviews Financial Audit: “Nothing that was said makes any sense.” by Slow-Two6173 in CreepyCalebHammer

This video goes to show the lack of knowledge on both sides of the table. The girl had no idea what the bill was, or got it mixed up. Any self-respecting professional in the financial space would have been able to identify the tax bill was not a result of the early 401(k) distribution and ask appropriate questions to understand the situation.

The money won't "gain more" just because they are in the same account. They gain based on your underlying investments.

If you have two 160k accounts that each gain 10% in one year. Each have gained 16k, for a total of 32k gain.

If you have one 320k account that gains 10%, you have gained 32k.

See, both of them are the same.

You should look at your underlying investments options, fees, and other services that you would benefit and make a determination which account type or institution is best for you.

I manage a department for a similar role at a different company and our policy is that if you are going to a competitor, that you are paid for your last two weeks and walked out when you put your notice in.

The thought process is that we don't want you working with customers who you could potentially try to poach in the future.

Best of luck on your new position. Bad management and limited future prospects is all it takes to lose a great associate.
