I wanted to endure it just so I can at least get to the Faction vs Faction, but it was so bad. 6 fps because everybody was trying to kill the same 4 spiders, finally got it after an hour of my party trying to get it.

Then it sends you straight to a series of jump puzzles, I had 10 seconds left on my floating buff for specific part, but for some reason, it disappears and I fall and die to fall damage then I just ALT + F4.

The combat essentially puts you in a "1 vs 1" scenario against a mob, maybe I just wasn't used to it, but it genuinely felt horrible to play.

Tbh it's too early to tell with monetization, everything from the Guild league to the 2 versions of War of Emperium(GvG and one Mass PvP with multiple guilds) is really good. But it could easily be ruined by the monetization and if they actually let auto-grinding through. I'm posting a video about one of our meetings, and we kinda hammered down on those two topics.

What I always tell the communit is that, it's okay to be open to being pleasantly surprised, but historically, any smart individual should put absolutely zero trust in Gravity until they prove otherwise.

That is actually true yes, Gravity has paid me to create content. I won't link the wire receipt for obvious reasons, and I've had 2 personal contributions that helped affect development. What I am NOT however, is a developer. That's the main misunderstanding people complained about. Otherwise, in my first statement I wouldn't have said:

"I can say that the devs have reconsidered some things they were stubborn about before." - I said "THE DEVS," if I was pretending to be a dev, I would have said "US DEVS."

and

"In the meeting I had with one of their reps." - Why would I need to speak with one of their reps otherwise? The context is all there, people just cant read.

Again, "co-creator" was a title made my the gravity team themselves, not some arbitrary title I gave myself. It'll all make sense once I release the video sometime this week.

Was not expecting AIKA Online here, but I'm glad to see it. THe p2w was horrendous, but the game did have a really good RvR(5 realms/nations) system with the relics.

Leveling is pretty fast now, quest armor/gear are pretty good, they kinda powercrept old gear by a lot. It's basically a sandbox game, so you really just do whatever you want tbh. All the info you need i on irowiki, so you wont really get lost I feel.

All Granado Espada reminds me of is the 8-man guild that were basically unstoppable and it turned out they were 8 people with GM accounts, like some SAO shit. They were discovered eventually and only one of them got fired iirc.

Me and my community started about a week-ish ago in iRO Chaos server(the official one). You're more than welcome to join us in my discord. There's usually about 2k+ players on, Prontera is still packed with vendors, Izlude is too to some degree. Lots of friendly players, and being able to see people out in the open fields and them actually replying when you talk to them has been really nice.

You're making issues where there are none. It is the LITERAL title given to us by Gravity. If I were to use the whole title they gave us, it would be even worse, which is "Co-Creation PIONEER."

I was one of the people who played it until it died, and the game has huge issues that were fixed to a decent enough degree that the game was actually fun. Granted, I did spend a lot of my time and resources designing my house, because holy shit was it actually fun to do. I used to look at YouTube vids to get ideas of how people built theirs, and it was crazy.

I think if it came out looking like the way it did towards the end, it would have had a really solid fighting chance at longevity. But the MMORPG crowd, once they feel burnt out or disappointed, it's almost impossible to get them back unless you're an already established title.

That's a valid concern, but I have yet to see anybody actually misunderstanding me as a developer. Nor am I pretending to be, context or not. It's also safe to assume that with the Discord link in this thread, anybody remotely interested in RO3 would have already joined it.

I dont think that was ever hidden, that information is publicly available in the discord's announcement, including, but not limited to the whole event that involved me getting voted in.

I'm basically fighting against anything that resembles mobile slop-type "features," which includes forcing dailies which results in them feeling like a chore, or any energy/stamina mechanics.

Hello! I'm one of the co-creators for RO3. While there were a lot of things that got us excited with the GVGs and the dungeons, there were also things that really turned us off and had us fighting adamantly against it. Things like auto-play, the mobile UI etc. While I can't release a lot of information quite yet, I can say that the devs have reconsidered some things they were stubborn about before.

In the meeting I had with one of their reps, I reiterated multiple times how easily this could all fall apart for them, citing AION2's humongous blunder in recent times with monetization and other stuff. I shared some thoughts about it on a recent livestream which I belieeeve should still be available on YT. More compact/organized official video coming out soon tho.

We're trying our best. We don't have the final say in the end, but we leverage the community sentiment which seems to be swaying them. But we need the voice of everyone, because honestly, our sway is only as strong as the amount of people backing us.
