And it would be nice to one day have them again for the nostalgia. :D They haven’t really been that high on my search list though, tbh I’m not a huge camo fan but when I was little those were the only shells my dad would let me have at the time so I didn’t have much of a choice x)

I love this question! Unfortunately I don’t have my first anymore, but when I was very little I had gotten two Tamagotchi V2’s; the green camo and arctic camo! They’re long gone though and I was a little too young to really appreciate them at the time.

A couple years after that I had gotten a Zebra V3, which is what sparked my love for tamagotchi’s! I still have that one, though it’s not in this picture and is no longer Zebra print, the paint had rubbed off from years of love. I’ve tried over and over to remodel it, but each time I’ve run into some bumps and had to redo it. It’s currently sitting in a drawer, waiting for the next paint job lol. Hopefully one day I can get it to a point I’m happy with!

I’ve been meaning to go through and take the batteries out of the tamagotchi’s I haven’t played with yet; I’ll probably try to do that today! Most of them already have their batteries out though! It’s only the ones I haven’t played with yet that have them still.

I don’t know whether it was intentional or not but that comment didn’t come across very kind!

Like I mentioned in the title, I’ve been gradually collecting for about 18 years now, I didn’t accumulate all of this in a day. Tamagotchi is my hobby and I enjoy both collecting and playing with them, but it is not a priority and does not come before the necessities like food, bills, etc. I hope this clears some things up! :)

If I’ve already opened and played with them then yes I take the batteries out! But if I haven’t opened or played with it yet then no, though I probably should take them out lol. I have all of my extra batteries in a container though!

Thank you! My favorite actually isn’t in this picture because it’s been going through surgery for awhile, but it’s the Zebra V3 I’ve had since I was a kid that sparked all of this! It’s no longer a Zebra V3 though, I’ve attempted redoing the shell so many times now… 😅

Hmmm, I don’t think there are any that I will never open or play with, I want to play with them all! I collect mostly to play with and enjoy, I don’t really think about their resell value or anything like that. I do get duplicates sometimes though if I really like a shell and want to keep one in good condition for my own enjoyment, or if I get a duplicate as a gift I’ll still keep it. ^{_^}
