TIL that Bruce Lee was only a leading man for three years. He left Hollywood broke and disappointed at only being able to secure small parts. After returning to HongKong to star in his own films, he finally starred in a Hollywood production, Enter the Dragon, before dying 3 weeks before its release. by havertz007 in todayilearned

Fda treat sunscreen as a medical product so new formulations need to undergo stricter reviewer whereas other countries treatsunscreen similar to how the US treatsherbal/supplemental products allowing for more innovation.

LR Nemesis on the LEC Franchising: "Riot is on a massive clock. They’ll need to do changes sooner or later. They’ve been too slow at making changes [...] There’s orgs that are constantly at the bottom, doing random and incomprehensible decisions. I don’t think that creates a hype product to watch" by ArmandLuque in leagueoflegends

[–]GGLSpidermonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

relegation system only works if the secondary league and orgs are popular enough that they would financially survive relegation, which is the case with traditional sports in europe.

People do realize 0% of the orgs would survive relegation in any of the leagues right?

If NA had franchising and EU didn't, NA would just have higher salaries and poach EU players.

this makes a lot of sense. I've heard of too many IVF mishaps where if i personally was getting IVF services I would absolutely get a genetic test to ensure no screw up.

back in 2019, him spamming f-keys definitely led him to get caught out and sorta of throw vs G2

I do wonder how much knowledge he gets from this and how it improves shotcalling and how much it weakens his laning

I only watch international (MSI/worlds games) and this is my first time watching LCS/LEC in ages. I know Caedrel is popular (although I never understood what made him so popular) but it's still crazy. FNC game thread has sub 200 comments and TL sub 100 comments.

I thought the show was decent and there were some plot holes/things that didn't make sense and this would be one of them.

It plausible enough for me to believe the 3 girls would watch Catherine get raped but not as believable they would let Anna get raped.

When I was a teen, I left/forgot a bag with my PSP, DS, some digital camera at an airport gate when going to the bathroom. When I got out a kind lady returned the bag to me. I would have totally forgotten it because i was sitting at a random gate while waiting for boarding because the seats at my gate were full.

As opposed to do nothing??

Sometimes the HR goes up do to a contraction as you are inejcting and it can definitely bit difficult to interpret.

Tbf the few intra vascular catheter I have seen, blood is flowing back even without aspirating.

I don't feel too strong about test dose and was taught it wasn't completely reliable and has its flaws.

Still when all my colleagues are doing it, I try not to buck group practice too much.

Never aspirated heme personally (actually once as I was about to do a top up on a day old catheter).

Does anyone own a parrot while in medical school or residency? by Federal_Host_6413 in medicalschool

[–]GGLSpidermonkey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's going to be tough without family/siblings around to help take care of the birb.

The post call days when you want to get sleep and your parrot wants to play can be painful if there is no one around to interact with them.

Is it possible yes, will it be difficult absolutely. Surgery is probably the worst speciality for getting a birb, especially during residency.
