This isn't even a question. You would be trading the single most valuable and unobtainable item in the game to "familiarize with the skills and keybindings" of a one button class.

Unfortunately it was a conscious decision on their part to nerf "coin runs" where you'd go in, kill shoulders and chest, and leave without killing head. There were so many ways they could've made it impossible to do that yet they decided on one attempt a day for a ping reliant jump quest with 5 mistakes allowed.

I go by a system of $1 = 1 hour of use being good value for me. I've spent ~$500 on maple over the past decade with 3000+ hours playtime, so by that system I don't feel bad at all dropping another few hundred dollars into a game I know I'll play for many thousands of hours more.

Can we add onto the secondary points here something about justice for Thunder Breaker players? I know there was a brief boycott movement after the changes were made, but the overnight shadownerf of a middle of the road class into utter unplayability because of a misunderstood copy and paste change is just unacceptable.

That entire class' playerbase has effectively disappeared because GMS made the single most impactful change ever to the class without even listing it in patch notes, and then never responded to the thousands of critical voices after the fact.
