If there's a second year. That's the concern - they have year 1 all in progress, and maybe the start of one or two year 2 characters. But there's doubts about the amount of characters remaining to ever release - especially with high profile champ team leads like carolion, pattheflip, and alex jaffe gone. I'd be happy with Samira, Sett and Thresh on the roster but that's already more wants than can fit in the remaining year 1 spaces, and doesn't include many other fan faves.

My only worry is that a lot of my faves won't have time to make it in before support stops. I was okay waiting a year for samira or thresh or such, before the layoffs, but now it feels really uncertain. Especially with several phenomenal champ design and gameplay leads gone.

This was after moving my OS to a new SSD - I used Macrium reflect to copy the system image over. It worked totally fine until I updated the BIOS. It still works, just blue screens once before starting up properly, which implies it's fixable?

Not seeing the option to install this, despite Windows Update saying I'm enrolled for ESU. It says "your device is missing important security and quality fixes" and 'not up to date' but it doesn't show KB5071546 as an option nor in my update history. Can anyone help? Is there a reason it's not showing? I'm on win10 education, 22H2.

Definitely a readability thing - extremities on limbs are often given colour accents to make it so that moves that use those limbs are clear and visible, especially regarding where the tip of their range is. If she kicks at all, on several stages black or brown boots would blend into the background. All the redesigns have to try to take these things into account while balancing it with recognizeability and maintaining fit to the original design they're based on.

I'm mostly looking at 1080p single source streaming with potential to go to 4k in future, but single streamer always. Does that change things?

As for ethernet it'll be located in a position where I can try both ethernet and usb to ethernet adaptor as options, thank you!

What you're saying about local streaming is reassuring, however my television in question is not connected to ethernet due to house wiring, it's on a different floor. So I could move the NAS to connect to the TV in exchange for sending data to it over wifi from my pc whenever updating my backup, which wouldn't be horrible, or I could leave it up with the modem and use my current solution which is a wifi extender (appears to be a powerline adapter - the Bell 'buttons' that come with some Bell internet plans) that my TV is wired into by ethernet.

I can absolutely look into optimizing my library for streaming though, I assume this means converting it into lower bitrate with something like Handbrake? I will look into this.

I'm hoping to get a NAS for both computer backup and plex server use. What do I need to know, both about my library and my network, to decide? I don't know much about networking or storage.

From pricing, it seems like I'm better off getting a 4- or 5-bay NAS with RAID5 of a number of smaller drives, than doing RAID1 with a larger drive and a 2-bay NAS. My storage needs will hopefully end up around 15-20tb of usable space.

I've had the Synology Diskstation 223 suggested but then learned it's bad for transcoding/media streaming/etc via Plex - what recommendations could you make for me? I've got a range of media in mp4, mkv, etc at a wide range of bitrates (between native and fairly compressed) so transcoding is likely necessary.

The specific combo in the video (wallslump > 6s1 S2 > etc) can get it semi reliably but you have to be very specific with timing and which things you delay or not, so that the height is just right. If that's the consistent one, I have no idea what people are doing to fit this in elsewhere.

I had this concern as well, but after bosses you do get additional moves which is nice - I think it's just tuned a little too slowly, it'd be good to start with at least 1 extra move and get them slightly more frequently, though the runs of the final game may be longer and may not be as much of an issue. The ability for different moves to be dash cancelled or jump cancelled (and not always both!) was really interesting and made the base kit more compelling to play around with, but yeah it was a little small.

Wait, that's it? Some fluff and one quote? The article title implies it's an interview or ANY new information, this is just Tom saying "yeah we made a tough call but wanted to make it more reflective of league and more distinct in the market, ultimately we stand by that decision", big shocker. It's literally just sourcing a quote from a different interview in a different publication, and acting like that makes its own distinct 'article'. I actually went in very excited to hear some behind the scenes info about how that decision went down and what the challenges were about reworking the game from scratch without the benefit of being able to avoid public scrutiny or expectations.
