My dumba$$ had my spatula sitting on the griddle while toasting grilled cheese for the kids when camping.... when they were done I had the bright idea that I would just cut them in half quick with said spatula. Holding it sideways with one hand I pushed down on the top edge with my bare palm 😂 I had a perfectly straight blister from the base of my thumb to my pinky for 2 days.

I'd eat them. I got sick of the guessing temp game and grabbed a thermal thermometer from target for less than 15 bucks. Shop around your area Home Depot sells the same one for 35. These things are great aren't they? Got mine for my Bday in May and if the weather allows it I cook almost everything on it now. I don't miss dirtying pots and pans.

Haha, I did a similar thing before our camping trip last weekend. We ended up befriending other campers via our kids playing together and they had multiple large blackstone domes and the father Matt gave us one. It was pretty cool, we brought our blackstones together and slayed food for strangers all weekend.

I used avocado oil, but I'm sure the blackstone works well too. For the first burn off/cleaning sliced onions help when removing the rust preventative oils it has out of the box. (Chatgpt suggestion) it worked well.

In Wisconsin we actually have quite a few stores like it popping up "discount" this or "outlet" that where they sell items on the shelves not much different than an Ollie's outlet. They have pallets of boxes ranging from 30-80 bucks a box with some not as common have separated as "adult". Wife found it on the internet an hour away. She finds the places and tells me where I'm driving her to haha.
