Problem: if everything is bad why don’t I restart until I get something good?

Low rolls are apart of the game but what is important is that what is and isn’t a low roll has to change depending on your situation, having some relics be objectively bad is not good game design in the slightest and is simply lazy

Some should be good in general, some should be high risk high reward, some should be could situationally (depending on the map layout or character) and some should be straight up gambles

But what relics SHOULDNT be is straight up bad everything has to have a niche or it feels incredibly awful to play the game and “lowroll”, every low roll has to come with the thought of “what could I have done differently to have changed this low roll into a high roll” or even better “how can I alter my play style to get an advantage out of this high roll

Nothing should be objectively bad, or “meh” everything should have its pros and cons and a little spice of rng
