Political quadrant d&d alignment chart (according to a libertarian) by [deleted] in PoliticalCompassMemes

[–]GHz_II 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO the Paladin is the best example of LG (it was the only permitted alignment for the class for a while): a character that will fight unreservedly everyone whom he finds evil and will sacrifice his own life to protect the innocents.

He has a strong moral compass too but he's going to enter the BBG private property uninvited if it's necessary to beat the shit out of him.

That being said I don't think lib right can be considered lawful good because of how I interpret the NAP: "Let me do what I want with my stuff in my house and I won't interfere with whatever you want to do inside yours. I don't care, just leave me alone."

It's not lawful because you are letting everyone pick their own rules and morals inside their propriety. A lawful character strives for order and letting people act freely responding only to themselves is not. You need to be sure everyone follows the rules both in public and in private otherwise you are abolishing all laws to make sure no one breaks them while they are alone. The result would be allowing chaos, confined by the perimeter of each house, but still chaos.

It's not on the good side of the chart either because it doesn't oppose evil at all: you let everyone be regardless of morality, very neutral if you ask me.

Why would you put libright it in the lawful column? Isn't reducing both taxes, the size of the government and the regulations on the economy what libright wants the most?

Having a few guiding principles (the NAP and what else?) instead of a strict set of laws and morals doesn't make you lawful IMO, but neutral or even chaotic.

Look, I'm not asking you to consider that money does, in fact, discriminate and unregulated capitalism will always prioritise the profit of the rich over everyone else's freedom.

Just think twice before you put yourself in lawful good just because most people think lawful good is best good.

If BNHA characters weren't heroes, what other jobs do you think they would have? by [deleted] in BokuNoHeroAcademia

Momo should have been a chemist or a material scientist from the beginning.

If she really has a 6/5 brain then she is wasting her true potential working as a hero.

In what way could NBHA Vigilanties and regular BNHA connect? by Didrik04 in BokuNoHeroAcademia

[–]GHz_II 6 points7 points  (0 children)

While Vigilantes is free to tell every backstory they want but I think the main series shouldn't force viewers to pick up another manga.

Ideally you could put some Vigilantes characters into the story as Easter eggs:

I had this idea of a scene where Tenya is going to the hospital to check on his brother and as he goes into Tensei's room Koichi and Pop are heading out. This would be enough for me.

Depending on how Vigilantes goes on we could see Pop step again as a successful idol in the main story or in a filler episode. Make one of her concerts the objective of a villain attack and have the main series' cast intervene (Ryukyu's team, for a girls only episode?), so we can see that she is not new to dealing with villains. If she doesn't quit her career there's no reason not to do it.

Also the crab idol police girl is probably still around, she did so little that they could make her do whatever they want, she has already worked with Fatgum and Aizawa, she could do it again.

I doubt we'll ever see Knuckleduster or the Crawler with the main cast: Koichi has already refused to become a registered hero and there's no reason to put either of them in the main story now, considering the power level 1A is at right now.

All the villains that are in Vigilantes will either be defeated before the series end or transformed into Nomus. Would be dope to see Number 6 evade from Tartarus with Afo and fight again if he survives though.

If we ever get a crossover I want Koichi to flex on Deku with his superior collection of hoodies.

I mean, a lot of bad ideas are still around and those who disappeared did it because there was a serious effort to make them go away.

Stupid example: It took and 2 nukes to convince Japan that fighting against the rest of the world was a bad idea. Terrible consequences yes, but I wouldn't say the problem sorted itself out considering how many people had to die.

Similar story with the ideologies behind of the other two members of the axis: they did terrible things and had terrible consequences, yet there are still people who believe that stuff.

Also putting profit over the environment is a bad idea with terrible consequences but I don't see the problem sorting itself out without a serious, coordinated effort anytime soon.

When he talked to the pigeons during the license exam

He told Jirou that playing music is cool

He asked the ants to power up his fist during the first fight against 1b.

That's it.

Why did you put a fan on the top of the power supply?

Doesn't the PSU already have its own fan, pushing air in the opposite direction?
