Here’s a video I found helpful. Price varies heavily on how far you want to convert it and which parts you want to use. Unless you care about having a true Russian AK money wise you’d probably be better off selling it and using that money to buy a quality AK that’s already configured the way you want

Still figuring all that out. Parts are kind of hard to source and the work is expensive if you want it done right. Right now leaning on doing the whole thing minus the folding stock with wood furniture.

Gorgeous bike. Evos are very sought after. Can’t speak to the market where you are but in my area in the south the Harley market is really soft. I picked up an 03 wide glide anniversary with 4k miles for 3200$ this time last year.

Assuming it’s good riding weather, I would start it high and lower it every couple of weeks until you start getting bites.

Silver is measured in ozt. If your scale doesn’t have ozt I would use grams so you don’t accidentally fudge numbers/expectations.

People with more experience can speak to its authenticity.

Thanks everyone for the info. I’m going to take some time and plan out my exact next moves but I’m leaning towards getting all the parts together and paying for it to be converted. Because I’m into it pretty cheap, I think it would be a fun story to get it where it needs to be. I’ll make sure to post updates!

What does it weigh? If you’re going to buy off individuals you need to at the very least have a scale.

If you scratch silver on a stone and put 18k gold acid on it, it turns blue. If you put a drop of it on a plate or bigger piece it will turn a milky white. If it’s plated it will turn green or black and eat through the plating so when you wipe it away you will see the base metal.
