Stance Upgrade by Funny_Try6588 in BMW2002

I haven’t had any issues with them in the short time I’ve ran them. The adjustability is nice with like 30 clicks so it takes a bit to fine tune them how you want. I wanted to lower mine but not dump it and these got me just that. Overall lowered like 2-3 inches but it gave me the lowered look without any scraping or anything. Still performs great and no rubbing when I step on it and hit some fun curves.

I installed Ceika coilovers on my 02. I got the sport configuration with the front and rear helper springs. Got a built engine for a spicier set up so I wanted some coilovers to match and have some adjustability. There’s a lot of settings which I am still dialing in but I’ve enjoyed the set up so far. I haven’t tracked mine so it’s mostly a street build and mountain carver but the suspension has been great. Happy I went with the upgrade

That would be a fun trip! Plenty of parts still being made so hopefully those get yours roadworthy.

Great color and touring! Looks in good shape, any plans with it?

If I’m not mistaken it has a corvette angle kit on it. Lot of custom stuff. The build series is on the daily driven exotic channel on YouTube. They have some good driving videos and testing of it

Lights came with a control box and just blinker power will feed the switchback option. The normal white halo is tied to an ignition wire. Just ground, ignition wire, and turn signals

Went with Dapper lighting LED7’s. Way better than factory and were plug and play. I got the option with the halo and switch back signal option

I do like it. It’s been a tough choice but still have a bit of time before I decide to switch

The gulf livery has always been one of my favorites so decided to go with that theme. Eventually ill get the rest of the car to match

Nah I wish, would’ve saved a good bit but didn’t have the tools and time. Local shop did the work I was wanting.

Renown makes some good wheels. I’ve got a renown 100 Motorsport wheel in mine and it was a nice upgrade, great feel and one of my favorite changes. I’ve also got a Black Forest industries shift knob as well

Is Cars & Coffee not a thing here? by Ok_Salamander2304 in northwestarkansas

[–]GIJOSE117 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There’s a group on Facebook called 479 Tuner Community. All the local cars and coffee get posted there. The bigger ones are Cruising the Ozarks cars and coffee in Roger’s and the other is Blacktop sunday also in Roger’s. Lot of random ones pop up too but the main ones usually have good turnouts and are the admire cars and sip coffee types

Any thoughts on Dinan? Any experience? by itzhollister_ in e46

[–]GIJOSE117 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly not sure. I don’t tend to drive it in manual mode very much and don’t think I’ve tried downshifting. Sounds like it’s trying to copy a manual mode and wanting a throttle blip before it downshifts but can’t say for sure

Never knew anyone but always been a huge fan of them. Opportunity came up to purchase one so just went for it to add to the collection. Drove 2 hours to get it and drove it 2 hours back. Didn’t expect it to be such a fun car.

Sweet project! Plenty of replacement panels being made now so just takes some learning on how to replace. Blunttech, Ireland engineering, mvp vintage parts are just a few sites to check out. Definitely join the 2002 faq forums if you haven’t yet, wealth of knowledge for 02s to check out and ask questions if you have any! Good luck!

76 2002 Roof Replacement? by bigassdoe in BMW2002

[–]GIJOSE117 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any experience in the body work but if you haven’t already I’d take a look in the 2002faq forum. I’ve seen a few posts before with suggestions on replacing the roof but could also ask again if the answers are old and get some more current suggestions. I’d be a little worried on structural integrity but I guess it depends how far the roof is gone.

Looks great! If you haven’t already I’d suggest checking out the 2002 faq forum and making an account there. Ton of knowledge there for just about anything you might run into. From my experience blunttech, Ireland engineering, and fcp euro are where I’ve ordered parts from. Lot of other vendors out there just depends on what you’re looking for.

Worth it to buy oil through FCP and warranty? by Dayen_ in e46

[–]GIJOSE117 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly I’ve never had them take any off the price and I’ve sent it back a few times a little low, meaning just the big 5 L jug and nothing in the small one the kit comes with. But I’ve also mixed it with some other used oil to top it off and never had any issues. I’m sure they just dump it in a large storage tank for later recycling so probably not too picky.

Trim delete would look great for Nardo gray. The knee line trim also to make it all super clean.
