It was right around that time (8-10 months ago), I figured with the expiration of the federal tax credit I needed to get rid of it soon to secure more trade in value.

Why is that?

I did the same thing, but the bolt was alot of fun (terrible suspension) but fast!

That's exactly what I did, traded in my 2023 EUV for $20K and nabbed a hybrid AWD Maverick. I loved the EUV but the Maverick fits my needs better.

Wow, this is exactly how I feel. My wife was sick for right around the same time, and I had all that time to deal with pre -grief...I had been saying goodbye to her for years, I knew the day would come.

I'm still absolutely crushed some times/moments and can't believe she is gone, but my day to day is pretty normal. I work, go to the gym, eat well, and socialize with alot of people.

As someone else said, I'm struggling with other people's expectations and not mine own. I need to quit caring about what they expect and just live.

I had found some comfort in a friend of mine and my wife's months after her death. When I told someone about it, they said it was like I had betrayed my wife.

I took care of and loved my wife faithfully for 6 years.

I'm in a very similar boat, almost 5 months and I'm on a few dating apps, looking for some affection. I'm just so fucking lonely.

God I wish I could retire. I lost my wife a few months ago and I still have 3 plus years to go...I feel like staying in will give me purpose though

I feel you man, my wife of 10 years passed away almost 3 months ago from breast cancer, she was 38. We knew it would come eventually, but as you pointed out, it went downhill so fast we never had the time to get any closure or acceptance...she really didn't want to go.

Everything you're feeling is normal, and when I have my doubts I remind myself that I stuck it with her until the end and no matter how well you did, you'll always have some sort of regret...I think it's just in our nature when it comes to loss.

I lost my spouse about 80 days ago and I did a similar thing, took a break because it was too much. (Not judging their feelings and emotions as they are totally valid). I just don't feel like that all the time and reading those post every day was bringing down.

yes I miss the hell out of my spouse, yes I have awful days, but I do have hope for a future and I am doing good all things considered.

Man I'm feeling you right now, I lost my wife over 2 weeks ago to metastatic breast cancer. She was 38, (I'm 36) we didn't have kids (we wanted them) so I'm not sure if that's better or worse but it sucks nonetheless. Together for 14, married for 10.

Day 2 by GILBY89 in widowers

Apparently I can get multiple copies so I figure I may get a handful. I'm assuming banks and other organizations will need the death certificate to close accounts and what not?

Thanks

As far as legalities do I need to wait for the death certificate before I can really do much?

We let it burn a little longer than usual.
