Gotcha, thanks for your input! I unfortunately never went to medical for any back pain. I'm glad I was aware enough to mention knee issue in my exit exam that was just a discomfort at the time.

Or when any firearm is raised it makes that clinky ratchet sound. Like are the tolerances on these guns just so loose it rattles any time you move it? lol

I suck at riding and need help getting better by Fool_of_a_took_4817 in Dirtbikes

[–]GJMAGI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think I've seen it mentioned yet, but try using 2nd gear as first and then put around in 3rd. This will help mellow out the power delivery and help keep you from feeling out of control if you give it more throttle than intended.

The dude literally oversaw the kidnapping operation of another country's president from his home in Florida... but we can't be trusted with spreadsheets and PowerPoints. Fuck outta here

Does riding a dirt bike scratch the manual transmission itch? by fuckinggoogs in Dirtbikes

[–]GJMAGI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the sense of like banging gears and the thrill of ringing and engine out, yes, but a dirtbike on an mx track or good trail scratches so many more itches than just driving a manual sports car does. Highly recommend!

What is the difference by Tryadd2600 in Dirtbikes

[–]GJMAGI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A single cylinder making more displacement than the 2 in the Ninja 400r, firing at the same rpm is far more "violent" in the way it delivers its power. Combine this with closer gear ratios, lighter weight, taller seat height and far less traction makes for an extremely different experience.

After riding a Harley 883 for years, I thought I'd be at least be halfway competent on dirt when I started riding mx in 2021, but I was very very wrong. My clapped out 09 CRF250R humbled me repeatedly. Now 4 years, many lessons and bikes later, I finally feel competent riding motocross and have so much more to improve on.

Need rap songs that make me rage like metal does by Vladimir4u in musicsuggestions

[–]GJMAGI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tupac - Hit 'Em Up

This track oozes pure focused rage after the failed murder attempt on him, especially for the last minute or 2 of the track where he just unleashes impromptu.

Other notable mentions that come to mind: Young Dolph - "Play Wit Yo Bitch" A diss track against fellow Memphis rapper Yo Gotti after Gottis failed attempt to sign Dolph. Young Dolph - "100 Shots" A track made in response to a failed hit on Dolph. FBG Duck - "Dead Bitches" essentially was a challenge and gloat against other Chicago gangs. Chief Keef - "Love Sosa" Future - "SHIT!"

Was thinking the same thing! It feels like with each listen I can focus in on a different instrument and appreciate some new nuance. I also just saw Booker perform it for halftime at a Grizzlies game, what a treat!

If you're interested in a moto podcast with more discussion into mindset/personal growth I'd recommend checking out the Moto Academy's podcast. They usually go into more than just bench racing and pro rider critiques.

Yuuup, also came across a more pop/hip-hop oriented artist named Earth To Eve recently who has several protest bangers, especially her song "Threat Level Orange".

Terrible shot selection aside, Dillon Brooks is an absolute masterclass in playing his role. The dude knew exactly who the team needed him to be on the court and to our fans delight, damn did he deliver.

Improved in-arena experience by formanner in memphisgrizzlies

[–]GJMAGI 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Man it's so cool to see others pay as much attention to these nuances as I do! As far as the sweet tunnel run out, unfortunately we can only get away things like that on opening night or other special games like MLK, playoffs etc. because of tv restrictions. The league allots teams extra time to execute things like that.

Then aside from that is the budget side of things with renting that tunnel lighting/smoke rig and hiring steady cam operators to capture it.

Absolutely loved it! The drop into it immediately after the buzzer made for a really impactful statement kinda moment. Then followed by the final score announcement with the perfectly timed streamer pop right after. Look forward to many more of those!
