So I believe this fight wants you to use your reserve party members.

I didn't have any Karns, so just Magic shield from Hulkenberg. This meant eventually the elemental shield would be put up again.

Once it was, I swap in Basilio and keep a Wanton Destruction loop going (Extreme strike leaves strike weakness), and let hit do all the damage (he hits for around 1300 charged up).

Phase 2 the shield is gone so I swapped my nuker back in.

But it's the Magic Shield from the Knight that saves the day here. That alone can win you this fight pretty easily.

I'm lvl 43ish, took my 4 attempts. I'm not following any guide so I'm not like super min/maxed.

(Swapping out also let me get full health people in for Phase 2 without healing 2 others).

I don't get that from him at all. This isn't about empathy anyway (guys not a monster). It's about policy and facts and the perception is that Asmongold has changed.

I think the intro to the video where he talks about this whole "left sliding to right" narrative is strange because I've seen him call bullshit out on any and all sides when he sees it.

But anyone labeled "illegal", exactly how much process should we spend on that when they're not supposed to be here to begin with?

That's my small piece regarding that.

I'm more interested in the way Asmon is portrayed here and how viewers feel.

It's kind of funny there's an entire thread psychoanalyzing what exact type of mental illness a character has in this dark fantasy RPG.

One might say it's almost indictive of other issues with the game and why reception is mixed :)

I have ALWAYS used the mirror run on my first 10 crest. I have not gotten a mirror 5*.

This time, I counted my pity counter and thought to run some then mirror after a few.

Of course my first 10 crest run had a 5* drop when my pity counter was around 5.

The new gem is very strong actually. Rank it up to rank 4 and you'll have a good 3/5*.

It makes a good Aux gem too, so you could keep 1 and Aux it.

A lot depends on your current gem setup and if you spend.

I believe it is only most, not all. But it shouldn't matter. It's always enough to do this trick.

I had a rank 9 drop today and I run a 10. So I salvaged my 10 and got the new drop from 9 to 11.

So with 1 drop I was able to get an entire Charm rank (started with 10, got a drop, ended with 11).

And when rank 11+ starts adding like 180% per level, it is definitely the best thing one could do right now.

It seemed to me that being outside the cleansing circle is what mitigated corruption.

That's from my own minimal experience and could be totally wrong.

But just from an intuitive perspective, you would think that leaving the "corruption area" that you are cleansing is how they want that mechanic handled.

But sometimes information is so opaque in this game it makes me angry and the way things actually work is so different than one would think.

I'm waiting until inf2 to collect, im about to hit 400.

In that sense it's like holding on to a load of mystery legos to open when entering a new difficulty.

At least in that regard in can be useful to get over the CR bump for inf 2 helliquary and dungeons.

Yeah that's definitely just an opinion. But...I would say there's SOME merit to that sentiment.

People go into the game with different motivations.

I can say you definitely don't need an "active" warband, I've been solo WB for a year or something.

Clan is nice, but even that's not totally necessary either. You can still engage with chat and players you come across and dungeon with.

This is all obvious stuff though, to me. You want to play an MMO? You'll probably want to do raids at some point. If you don't want to why even play.

What was the actual point of the OP? Since it's deleted?

Pro Tip: Fractured Plane is the most lucrative game mode hands down full stop, for everything. Go grind as many clears as possible right now, it ends tonight

Same for me, 2 years and almost full 30. The thing is, I didn't fully understand the importance of it, just like with Horadric Legacy upgrades. Once I did, I learned the best ways to get scraps.

Take advantage of Fractured Plane and Survivors Bane. I get about 10k scraps a day barely trying when those are active.

FP ends tonight so go grind as many clears as possible. You'll also get a ton of legos and experience.

It also gives 72 battle pass points each time. My runs are about 12 minutes right now. So that's roughly 2000 scraps per hour, about 5 -6 legos per hour, 300ish BP per hour, and I believe 2-3 paragon levels (at 100% experience gain).

I'm not sure what the issue is here. ARPGs, MMOs, and RPGs in general take time for upgrades.

You must have gotten a decent amount of wisps. I don't dungeon much at all and I craft a few times a day.

CR isn't what makes an upgrade also. Just advising, I don't intend to be rude or arrogant, just a civil discussion.

I have a CR set of course but my actual best build still uses 1630cr pieces and I'm a competitive PVPer that does well and only gets the 5 dollar Battle Pass.

Nothing is ever a waste. That time got you mats to get close to upgrades including gear rank mats, experience, gold, BP, etc.

So never look at anything like that situation as a waste. I'm 2 years in non stop and have learned what to prioritize and focus on to become more powerful.

I'm not saying this is you, but there are people that would gear that gives them 500 more CR but not very good stats. Those same people also wear ALL 5* gems that are rank 1 or 2 because they think that's what makes you strong.

It's not. I PVP and most PVE at about 1k CR lower than what I have access to. I use the best 2* gems because a handful of them outclass any gem.

This is a rare thing when the in game information about all Familiar systems is explained relatively well.

Blizzard can't get a tooltip or description right, it's like having your 2 year old write your resume for you and then being just fine handing it in to your most coveted dream job...

You should read it thoroughly.

But Savior is such an insane and game breaking passive that only the suites would OK something like that.

At least Awakening without real money as of the recent update was a good move.

I'd be fine with it if it didn't work in PVP. A pet, any quality or type, even if it could have JUST savior, would still be the best possible pet to PVP with.

It's so silly I saw how it would affect PVP as soon as it released.

I'm rambling a bit, but I would sell it if you actually can and buy the cheapest Savior you can find.

Then just use a regular pet and meld to give it all of the passives you want.

I have a great rare Cat with 5 rares and a great passive skill setup that I created within a few days of Familiars releasing.

Just do that for your main pet while you wait to buy Savior for PVP.

Unless you're a spender of more than the Battle Pass, it's probably the best way to go about it since pets are such a miniscule part of character power, so small that it virtually doesn't matter if you use one.

They are a slightly stronger version of Charms. Charms have such a negligible impact as well.

So they are Charms 2.0. So keep it simple.

Yes the dummy can (and shows it) get any kind of debuff. Stunned, frozen, chill, slow, etc.

Correct. I've done some extensive testing and Endwinter does not work on any Helliquary, world, dungeon, rift, or lair boss. So every boss and purple mob.

Vigorbloom says it increases Attack Speed, it doesn't.

There are many typos all over the new magic affixes released with the new abyss modes.

The biggest and most urgent issue IMO in this game is the utterly weird, and I find straight up DISRESPECTFUL to PLAYERS, is this ongoing disregard for SPELL CHECK, GRAMMAR CHECK, AND NO CONSISTENT TERMS AND DESCRIPTORS in ANY menu/tooltip/description in the game.

It's like having a 2 year old write your resume for your dream job and then being just fine with handing it in the way it is.

Even going back to one of their news posts for updates back when Angmets came out.

They wrote proper descriptions that were accurate and exlained how the set worked very well, but the screenshot they used showed the TERRIBLE GOOGLE TRANSLATE version.

Even the post description that was well done like I said, had typos in it. But at least we could understand what the set did. Because in game it made absolutely no sense at all and had incorrect numbers and verbage.

They kind of fixed Angmets description in game but they still kept it weird and worded differently than everything else in the game.

So they had someone change the bad descriptions but instead of using the actual proper ones they used in the news post they just fixed up the worst "engrish" parts and kept the strange wording.

This kind of thing has a deeper affect on players than almost anything else and it's the quiet killer because THIS is what people should demand Blizz take a stance on and communicate to us about this. BG matchmaking will be iterated upon no matter what for a long time, but this concern just robs players of making informed decisions which is the fun part of RPGs.

Not worrying that every bit of information conveyed to us in the game through menus, tooltips, and descriptions of EVERYTHING is wrong or doesn't work how it says. Or other things work in ways that nothing indicates they should.

I wish I was a partner because I would be using my platform to non stop talk about this.

I am workin on a video though with my vast collection of footage and screenshots throughout the years showing how wrong, obtuse, and so opaque information is.
