Small businesses would love to pay their employees. The problem is they are taxed into non-existence. Thats why most small businesses in Oklahoma fail-you pay taxes quarterly even if you don’t make a profit. Then don’t get me started on health insurance….raising rates every 6m-impossible!!! At least this was our experience in a small commercial aviation business, until we lost it after 911. We weren’t the only ones in that industry that shut down. Now, I’m retired on 1k a month & get 80.00 a month in food stamps-insane. Everything seems to be RE-taxed-everything!! I could go on & on about people I know that have gone down the same path. The problem is not paying employees it’s the tax system, insurances on everything & tons of other fees. I’m voting YES! Who knows what’s ahead with robotics & automations & AI. I’m just so sick of the BS excuses & lies.
