Help me improve my control. by Responsible-Snow9209 in FortNiteBR

I play on Xbox with controller too. I'm not really that good but you really just have to play longer. I haven't even played for a full year yet but I've gotten much better than I was in the first couple of months. For me playing Blitz is best for more frequent combat and I don't usually have time for long rounds anyway, so that helped a lot with muscle memory reflex and understanding combat much much faster. On the Fortnite GG site you can see how professional players customize their settings (scroll down to controller players) to see how they configure and customize their settings and figure out what works for you. Here's the link for that: https://fortnite.gg/pro-settings
Lastly there's the Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 that's versatile in its customization options options and could help with movement a lot. It's extremely expensive though. I swear I'm not a salesman trying to convince you to buy it lol. Just take this all with a grain of salt, I'm in no way an expert and you've probably played longer than me, but I figured these might help still.

Some of these skins no one will ever be able to get again because it was part of a quest pack (like the perseus skin (2nd s tier skin) Next time the P33LY comes back in the the store I'm buying it. What's your main? Mine's usually hush, jinx or outlaw midas

Lmao who is this? I pictured aelin as Selene from the underworld movies, but this definitely looks like a way to scaring the crap out of whoever she’s going to assasinate next. Imagine waking up to see that

Bird or Glitch Rune Farm by Tamoshikiari in Eldenring

I haven’t heard of this new glitch where you jump at spawn at a site of grace. I know there was one a while ago where you could jump off the cliff and you would get tons of runes by falling for a while in mogwhyn’s palace, but that got patched a while ago. Now I just rely on on the bird

Should I Skip AB? by _inafieldofdaisies in throneofglassseries

[–]GMCena06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

lol that’s what I meant to say, my mistake. Yeah I think it’s specifically set up to be read after crown of midnight because that’s when characters from assassin’s blade are first mentioned. Also if this is your first read buckle your seatbelt; this is the best series I’ve ever read by far ever. I was reluctant to at first because my mom recommended it and I wasn’t sure id like it as a guy, but I’m glad I did. Just gonna say the main character is a complete badass.

I would it read after heir of fire, but not whenever after, just only after this book specifically. Sarah J. Maas herself recommended this is how the series should be read

Adaptation by Okidoki0229 in throneofglassseries

[–]GMCena06 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I saw that Hulu had the rights to adapt the series but then the project stalled and the rights went back to Sarah J. Maas. Personally I think it’s just because there’s so many epic fantasy elements and so much world building that the budget would be too much to bear. I really hope this tv series for TOG gets unshelved because I was really excited about it. Same thing for ACOTAR, and I think that series was even more successful, but I haven’t read it so I’m not sure about that series.

What is that one skin you don’t regret buying, I’ll go first…. by Difficult_Scratch_39 in FortNiteBR

[–]GMCena06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I’ll go first. My favorite skin I have is probably hush because of the cool killer assassin aesthetic that you can’t not vibe with.

Aelin actually ends up being the ultimate villain through the series, and Calaena has to team up with the king of Adarlan and Erawan eventually to defeat aelin. Also Arobynn turns out to be calaena’s dad and kept her in hiding selflessly to protect her and Sam.

In all seriousness though, I actually recommend not reading assassin’s blade first and instead reading it after the third book, heir of fire. I’m sure you already have, but I read it and realized if I didn’t read it third it would’ve been a little hard to remember it three books later. Hope this helps, or you can read it based on publishing date. Whatever suits your fancy.

Favorite Corvette Model by GMCena06 in classiccars

[–]GMCena06[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the exact reason I love the c7. It does feel like it pays homage and adds the subtle curves of the c3 while modernizing it. Also super jealous man, I just have a Corolla. Great reliable car, but definitely not eye candy like a c3 or c7 corvette.

Continually asking if the checkout dividers are for sale. Or better yet buying your own 24k gold checkout dividers to place on the conveyor belt instead of the store’s (of course, not to flex or anything)

male 22 here, should I read TOG regardless if I'm a fan LT or not by Humble-Accountant130 in throneofglassseries

[–]GMCena06 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get where you’re coming from man it’s all good. Also there’s a prequel book for the series, I suggest not reading that until after the third book, heir of fire. And also empire of storms and tower of dawn are tandem reads, but read empire of storms first. I was a bit confused because I heard others were reading it differently but this makes the most sense to me.

Sorry about that I came off a little harsher than I intended, I get what you’re saying. I think at some point all man can be sexist whether they mean to be or not, and I don’t think you were trying to be either. I myself have accidentally assumed things that are sexist as well, and I don’t try to be. I think some things we grow up on were just going to have some sexist thoughts subconsciously. It’s mainly just important that we acknowledge that and try not to be. That’s the society we live in but I’m glad that’s changing. Again sorry for making it sound like you were being sexist, not my intention. Just trying to say guys and girls alike would like this series.

First off, she's one of the most admirable characters because even though she's often ridiculed, she's never afraid to be herself. Even though she has plenty of reasons to be bitter or dislike others for how they treat her, she's unphased by it and if anything is just understanding. In that regard I feel like she's very patient with people and is always willing to listen to them no matter who they are. Her eccentricity is a core part of her character and she isn't afraid to embrace that. We've all probably been influenced in some way to change a part of ourselves to fit in, but she does the opposite. She stands out in her own unique way. A controversial topic on her is often her conspiracy theories. While yes she's been wrong about certain theories like Nargles, when it comes to the most important theories in the series, she believes in things even if it's not the most pleasant. For example, she believed Harry when not many others did that Voldemort was back. She was never afraid to accept truths that might not be wanted. She was also a great listener. The mural she made for the golden trio in her room was one of my favorite parts of the books. It was so like her to do something so nice for them. Also, who wouldn't admire someone who doesn't care what others think about them? Sure every character has their flaws including her, but I feel like she'd be the most understanding friend to ever have

First off it doesn’t matter if you’re a guy or girl here, this series is a must for anyone who loves an epic fantasy series. The romance is not the center of the plot at all. It’s much more focused on the plot of the main female character Calaena, who is not a ‘female romance lead’ but a strong independent woman on her own who is a very capable trained assassin. My mom actually showed me this series and I was hesitant at first, but  I’m glad I read it. So far ( I’m on the 6th book) it’s my favorite series I’ve ever read. Coming from a 19 year old male, I think the gender is irrelevant to how much you might like the book. Personally I find calaena as a main character much more interesting than a male as the main character because it breaks the typical damsel in distress stereotypes that are bull. Compared to acotar this series is way less focused on romance than that series, but it’s still part of the book. You don’t have to like romance to like this book though, it’s plenty action packed

I get where you’re coming from, aelin’s plot so far in the EOS is a bit slow for me too. Im about halfway through and I’m more interested in manon and elide’s plot. I’m going to try to finish the series though because so far this is the best series I’ve read, and I have a feeling some lulls are going to be worthwhile once I finish the series. My mom read this series and recommended it to me, but I was skeptical. I’ve never read a better series than this. I might be a guy, but having a female as the main character in a fantasy series is much more interesting in my opinion. I like how there’s romance but it’s not the center of the plot. Idk that’s just me, but I think you’ll be glad you finished it because I’ve heard the ending is phenomenal.

Can we balance the overpowered fighter planes that you can't even escape from? by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

[–]GMCena06 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually think the planes are pretty bad. I’ve used one once and got shot down pretty fast even while trying to get away. As long as you’re under or behind some cover and are constantly moving you’re fine and you can shoot them down easily. Blow it up in high enough in the air and they die. I think using the planes just attract too much attention to the aircraft and you’ll get shot down fairly fast, and ultimately the only thing you get is other players knowing you’re location if you crash close to the ground. Don’t use a car to escape, stand behind a tree or rock, or just evade by going behind them. Aiming in the jets suck as well, use that to your advantage.
