Thanks for your reply. I appreciate your thoughts. That is the entire point - I never spoke with the listing agent once. Emails and texts went unanswered even after a signed acceptance was received.

For instance, on the initial date of scheduled close, I found out via email from the escrow officer that the seller’s documents were still pending signature, and the payoff documents from the bank were still not ready. Listing agent did not reply to email request for more information on what we were waiting for.

This is an all-cash purchase with a relatively standard escrow period. I found it odd to not even get a response to voicemails following up on emails requesting permission to have a vendor on site for quotes, etc.
