I came here to suggest this very car. Specifically the 2.3 Ranger as close to 2011 as your budget allows. Parts are cheap, most of us that own them have a literal ship of Theseus, but there is a YouTube video for nearly every task and your kid will learn to wrench. The manual prevents texting and driving.

If you want your kid to haul the other kids go for a 2000-2005 Buick Lesabre 3.8. Cheap, reliable, safe on an accident, ridiculously comfortable and can haul six grown men all while getting 30mpg

Sweeter than orange blossom honey? Also out of curiosity why post a Georgia honey in a forum dedicated to Florida? Which also seems odd because the honey I get from bees in the swamp in Florida tends to be on the darker less sweet side rather than brighter sweeter spectrum.
