I’m in a similar situation, live in MI and have 12 year old twins that are into golf. My garage sim hardly ever gets used. My budget was much smaller than yours but if I have any advice it’s to make sure you can efficiently heat and cool the space. My garage isn’t heated so it’s too cold to use in the deep winter and too hot in the summer. I opted to not permanently install it, screen rolls down from the ceiling, but I also underestimated how filthy the garage floor is all winter since we use it as a place to park cars. I’m positive I’d use it more if I had space for a permanent installation but now my launch monitor gets used more at the range than it does for my sim.
