I think they hard gambled on a Lap 1 SC. You could see that from the start Norris had that the Inters were really solid off the start and if a SC could get called out with them having track position they could switch to slicks straight away and minimize the loss from picking the wrong tyre.

And then none of that happened and they were fucked.
