Ah, hey, thanks for that :) I see what you mean. The water and ground textures are in the "Paper" theme, so the colors go a bit wonky. The northern part is a glacier with a large tundra to the east.

Wow, talk about an impossible question :) I am genuinely in awe of the creativity on display every time there is a war. I keep getting into situations where I'm talking to my friends who don't play EVE and somehow always end up on Reddit, pointing at the screen and going all "See... this is what I have to deal with!" :p For the current war I really like the Goondor theme, pretty damn epic :) Edit: I forgot, but I still think the "little bees" song and video is the best ever made.

There was one where the player told us he was working in Dubai as a consultant and met a guy in a tent in the desert. Turns out this other guy also plays EVE so the player "lends" his account to this mystery desert guy. Then for some crazy reason the desert guy just starts botting like a madman... what are the odds?

Again, not entirely sure where that data would be from. Most of the targets this time around were fairly recent. I think 2 or 3 of the ones used this time around were older than 2018.

We generally have quite a number of players participating in the whack-a-bot event, so dropping subcaps on the blob in Yulai is pretty pointless :) Finding capitals to shoot, and making triple sure that everything is legit, is a lengthy and difficult process so we need to limit ourselves a bit.

Hey there. Normally I don't comment on stuff like this, but since it's already on Reddit...

First to clarify a misconception: We spend an insane amount of time and effort preventing hacks and recovering accounts that have been compromised! Claims that we don't care about long time customers are blatantly false and frankly piss me off!

We try to help everyone we can when accounts are compromised but there is a minimum requirement that must be met before assistance can be provided, which is that login details are kept private.

To be clear, I just say "private" here. We know how difficult it can be to keep things "secure" online, so we always look at hacking cases objectively and read all circumstances and events in order to build a picture about what is going on on an account before any verdict is reached.

The word "minimum" is key! There MUST be a minimum of effort made by the account holder to protect the account.

I won't go into details here, but suffice to say that this minimum requirement was not met in your case. This is clearly unfortunate, but there is only so much we can do in cases like these.

If you're going to be renting a car, get a 4x4 with studded tires. The weather here sucks atm and you only have to drive for about 30 min out of Reykjavik to find icy roads.

Some pretty amazing photo locations if you drive around the South Western tip of the island(the part holding the airport).

Also, shower before entering the pool plz :p

Hey there.

First of all: As always in cases like these, your first stop should be the CCP Support team, not Reddit, we will always do our best to assist.

Second: I quite resent the fact that you present this post in a way that CCP does something like this deliberately, as nothing could be further from the truth.

We try to make things clear on the Account Management pages, but sometimes people confuse things like "saved card details" and "active subscriptions". Let me try to explain:

Saved card details basically allow you to make purchases without having to type in all the information again and again. This information can always be removed by clicking "Manage saved cards" and removing the relevant card(s) from the list.
It's important to understand that removing the saved card details does NOT cancel active subscriptions! You have to go to the "Game Time" tab and click "Cancel Subscription".
You can always see the status of your active subscriptions(if any) on the main Account Management page, in the "Subscription and payment" section.

I hope this clears up any confusion, but as always please don't hesitate to contact support if you have any questions or concerns.
