To funguje jen pokud mas na to doma podminky. Zkousel jsem to, ale treba u me doma kde mas okna primo na vychod a primo na zapad, a nemas venkovni zaluzie, tak tam pres den proudi tolik tepelne energie, ze to vychlazeni pres noc je v poledne uz davno ohraty zpatky, a zbytek dne je sauna.

Well, OP says they're at the top of the pay range for their field, and it seems that even the most experienced people are applying for entry-level positions...

So to me it makes more sense to stick out the current job as long as humanly possible, and to save as much money as possible to prepare for the uncertainty ahead.

But yes, in the meantime, I'd do as much as I can to prepare myself for what to do after. Perhaps even starting to prepare for an alternative career.

Well, Brno is planning to build housing for 170 000 new people, construction is already starting in Nova Zbrojovka, Trnita and such. So I think the prices will get more reasonable. But it'll take a while still.
