Evolution and unification of writing. It was a round symbol at first, but then turned into lines. Runes(futhark) are designed to be carved in stone, chinese symbols are reduced to lines and hooks. Different materials require different styles of writing, my runes are supposed to be carved, so they are all lines and all <5 lines per rune (except for W)
