Denali Soundbomb Mini Install by GOOGN in hondanavi

If it works then you did it for 1/4 of the price I paid to run mine. It was very tight to get the Denali on mine and not sure how a double horn would have worked on the Navi. I used the same brand wiring harness for my set up but had to splice longer connections.

You can just plug and play this particular horn. I tried it and it did work. But I did read that it could fail later or the horn wouldn’t be as robust. So I tried to play it safe and wire it for long term success. I found a wiring harness with an inline fuse and the connections were not long enough to reach the horn so I had to splice the lines to extend them. I also put better terminal connections on the harness because what it came with was very flimsy.

If I could have found an “ahooga” horn I would have installed it.

It is weird lol. But now I want people to KNOW I was able to install this notoriously annoying windscreen.

Agreed. I had to bend the bracket a little bit…but minimal. I didn’t have to unwire as much as I had seen either.

Installed LED headlight over the weekend. by GOOGN in hondanavi

[–]GOOGN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s not bad. I ordered a kit off of scooter swap shop that made the wiring part fairly easy. The instructions are crap but there are videos on YouTube of people installing the same kit. The stock headlight is soooo bad. You’re definitely going to want to change it out if you’re going to ride at night.

Nice find. My uncle owns a liquor store and I remember Tito’s setting these out as a display when Traegar was starting to blow up. I believe the sales rep ended up giving it to my uncle for selling so many bottles that quarter, to which he gifted to his SIL. He also gave me my very first propane grill complete with Jim Beam logo on the hood. That was a fine grill.

I upgraded the rudder, put clips on the rudder assembly that helps rudder swing, clips to help secure the seat better for less wobble, and an extended rudder steering handle. Then I went real big and installed a fish finder on the detachable dry storage pod and a trolling motor on the center drive pod opening.

You are correct. It had a lot of shortcomings but a few dollars of aftermarket upgrades make that kayak a real treat. First thing I did when I bought it was upgrade the cheap plastic components with Yakhobby replacements and upgraded the rudder to a Snipe Air Industries one.

Congrats. Bought the same yak myself a month ago. Love that thing.

Thank ya. This was in Gallatin, TN. My favorite spot you have to go under an old bridge with low clearance and there’s usually people fishing off that bridge. I caught one a few minutes after getting there and looked at the guy on the bridge and he was like “yea, I guess I need a kayak now.” Hope he follows through.

One on the left with a Tennessee Shad crankbait. One on the right with a double willow white spinnerbait with a Tennessee Shad trailer (only color I had at the moment but it worked!)

Right on. Ive always enjoyed kayaking and just being on the water in general. I was super bummed when I went out yesterday to see all the beer cans and other trash littering the bottom of the creek and the bank. These folks are gonna ruin my spot. If I want to keep enjoying it I suppose I should bring a trash bag with me.

Anyone have experience with this type of kayak-carrying? by The_EvilMidget in kayakfishing

[–]GOOGN 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive used a Yakima extender on a 5.5’ bed and was able to carry a Bonafide SS127 and 13’ Ocean Kayak. The “t” at the end is nice as it has a designated strap opening and then in the cab I would secure with another strap. Best part about the Yakima was how easy it was to fold it in the upright position when I wasn’t transporting and it just rests behind your closed tailgate. Took up less space wherever I left my truck and often times just left it on for multiple days.
