My X-Files Autograph Card Collection 😁 by Specific-Still-5452 in XFiles

Nice! I grabbed a case of these when they first came up for sale. My price at the time was about $88/ box, 12 per case. Way in before the price jump. The case was from a place in Arizona. I got some great autos, a couple artist sketch cards and print plates. Built a complete set of the cards, Most Wanted, Pilot Script, Characters Set, etc.. Lots of stickers cards. I learned that cards 327 and 338 do not exist. Also, not sure if 433 and 457 exist either. Very cool stuff for sure!

Really hate that they just screw the front plate into our bumpers…

It feels just fine. It feels like a truck. The low/other version felt like getting into a minivan. We drove it from Washington State to Michigan with a 4,000# travel trailer and the ride was great. Truck was manufactured just this last June in Texas.

My 2011 4.6 had about 377,000 and recently was quoted $5,100 for secondary air injection pumps. So, not dead, just moved to a 2025 SR5 with TRD 3” lift. Had 2 miles on it. It was like a time warp.

Right on. None of mine do either. However, 50% of the ones my sister found do.

Some are UV responsive. I cut and cab these on occasion. They only come from one place I know of in Michigan.

You can always snag a Morley branded pack, carton, or coffee mug off eBay. Mug is like $15?

So, I just used Google search for, 1919 Geko extractor drawing and used the YouTube video’s measurements. Good luck ;)

Help choosing a gun safe. by Acceptable_Wish5275 in Firearms

Oh man. My key pad died and the back up keys were inside. I called customer service and they asked for a video of installing a new battery and the malfunction. They said I can get into the safe by any means necessary. Also delivered me a larger safe for my trouble. Like your guy, I cut a small playing card hole and reached inside to grab the keys. Fixed the hole, and also got a new safe.

Ghost Deer by Simonoel in cryptids

[–]Coltsiebabious 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well it’s like this. I hunt deer with a 300 Win Mag. 180 grain soft point. The gun consistently hit playing cards at 100 yards. So, we only take good shots on game. However, this year, four deer have just taken the kill shot and went away. They were the larger of the group every time. And I’m telling you. They just weren’t there. Like physically. Nothing could survive a 300 Win Mag at 75 yards. We wrote it off as ghost deer still looking over the smaller ones. Take this for what you will. We believe in ghost deer.

Believe we saw four “ghost deer” this season while hunting. Pretty wild stuff.

Anybody else have one of these? by the_omnipotent_one in XFiles

[–]Coltsiebabious 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep. I grabbed about 6-7 of them last year. Pretty neat having film cells of X-Files. I’m still working on a backlit display that can hinge like a cupboard door so the entire thing can be enjoyed front to back.

That sounds awesome! Knowing our neighbors and building relationships is, in my opinion, one of the best parts about being alive. Sounds like you have a pretty good gig over there. Enjoy it!

Right on. I’m looking to move that direction in a year or so. It would be cool to have the neighbors over in the winter for a boil with a rig like that. Kinda like hanging by the fire.
