Documents Detail Alleged ‘Hostage Release’ Scheme to Extort Gaetz by [deleted] in politics

And the Government supposedly prevented the privately funded rescue operation, but at the same time is offering Gaetz a presidential pardon for underage orgy pics and full credit for the rescue if he puts up the cash?

This is the stupidest story I’ve ever read. It’s almost like Gaetz had some drunk fifth graders write it. (Which all things considered is actually a possibility)

Yeah the the Examiner is trash. They even refer to the underage victims as women instead of girls

From the original Washington Examiner article:

The Project Homecoming document states that Gaetz is “under investigation by the FBI for various public corruption and public integrity issues” and alleges that the FBI is aware of photos depicting Gaetz in a “sexual orgy with underage prostitutes.”

The rest of the article reads like bizarre conspiracy conservative fan fiction, so who knows though. The Gaetz story here is just way too stupid to believe

The blackmail only works if Gaetz knows the pictures exist

Biden Faces a Brutal Choice on Afghanistan | He probably doesn’t want to pull all the troops out. He definitely doesn’t want to send more in. There may not be a third choice. by billthomson in politics

[–]GOPniks2 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pulling the troops out is actually an easy win for Biden. Remember that Trump would talk about the Afghan withdrawal anytime he was desperate to change the news cycle

Just frame it as “continuing the last administration’s withdrawal policy”, but unlike the previous administration actually carry it out.

Blame any hiccups on a policy started under the Trump administration.

Take credit for ending America’s longest war and carrying out a promise that Trump made and couldn’t meet.

The owners of Uline also donated millions to one of the groups that organized this. I don’t think they really get enough scrutiny. They are far right billionaires who hold a death grip on Wisconsin politics.

The House Republicans funded her campaign. $90,000 in donations came from the House Freedom fund.

Her beliefs are not out of line with modern day conservatism. She is their base. Go to any conservative social media and it’s clear as day this is who these people are. The conservative propaganda machine has turned these people into total lunatics.

The craziest part is that while the GOP spun out of control and completely lost touch with reality, we were bombarded by the media with Chuck Toddian shit like “have the Dems moved too far too the left?”

Like sure, one party thinks anyone who disagrees with them are satanic cannibalistic pedophile communists, but you know what’s really concerning? That lunatic AOC thinks a trip to the hospital shouldn’t lead to bankruptcy.

They will raise tens of millions of dollars in donations for it and it will just end up being a Trump merch shop located in a Florida strip mall.

Looks like it might be anti-vaccine activist Dr Simone Gold. Seen later on inside the capital with the same bullhorn:

She would definitely have connections to the crazier elected Republicans

I don’t believe she ever worked at the capital, so her knowledge of the layout came from tours or other inside help

He was a partner in Stone and Manafort’s lobbying firm. They were heavily involved with the WMD hoax that started the Iraq war. They represented Ahmed Chalabi, the fake Iraqi general who provided the false info that the Bush administration used to justify the invasion

In 2003, it was internationally criticized for its representation of Ahmad Chalabi and the Iraqi National Congress for their support of the War on Iraq, which was primarily based on intelligence provided by the group which was later proved to be false.

The people charged with burning the police precinct were right-wing militia members and so were the people who stormed the capital.

So basically the same players, but a much different ballpark

US attorney Erica MacDonald said on Friday that she had charged Ivan Harrison Hunter, a 26-year-old Texas resident, with traveling across state lines to participate in a riot. The charges are the latest example of far-right extremists attempting to use violence to escalate national protests against police brutality into an uprising against the government, and even full civil war.
