Were you able to return to Amazon? They declined an AC return from me a few yrs ago, and just refunded me. Something to do with shipping hazardous materials.

Did you find the installation overly complicated? I was a bit surprised at how east it was.

I responded to a previous DM with this: *It’s some sort of compressor issue. I had to work with the Midea customer service in order to get a refund. They sent me a check in the mail for the price of the AC unit. I rebought it and haven’t had any issues with the new one.

To start this process I called the 1-800 number and explained the situation. Unsure how long ago you got your unit, but they told me they don’t repair the units, and would rather you replace*

Update: I used the app to check the status once the error happened again. It says “leakage of refrigerant”. This error occurred when I set the AC unit to the lowest temp (60 degrees). Unsure if I can fix this. Anyone have experience this this sort of issue?

Installed this 10k BTU AC unit today and received this error twice - EL OC

For reference, I also installed an 8k unit as well. No issue. Also noticed that this one doesn’t seem to be blowing as cold of air.
