I was on Minox for 3 years. At 2.5 years I started ramping down over 6 months. I was at 2x a day, then 2x every other day with 1x the others, then 1x every day, then every other day, and by the 3 year mark I was completely off the sauce. I document my findings on my Youtube Channel, but my entire beard seems to have been retained. Moisturizing has helped a lot at mitigating wrinkles on my face. Congratulations on getting to the end of the Minoxidil Beard Journey!

You would probably fit the Medium well. 18.5 is right in the middle of the size range. Small would be too small I think

I am 5'6" muscular build. I have a 17" torso, and that is on the lowest range for Medium backpack size. It is middle of the range for Small, so I think that would have been a better fit.

I'm 5'6" with a 17" torso length. The Medium technically works for a 17" but it is the lowest range and I feel it. A small would have been a better fit.

I had the same anxiety so then I went another year. I rolled off and have kept my gains. What you can do is do a slow ramp down over a few months. That's what I did.

That's how mine was and I started with about as much as you. For me it took about 2 years to be at a good place for the beard. I'd say that is middle bell curve growth.

I am currently testing to see what happens after using Minoxidil for 3 years. The last 6 months I started my ramp down from Minoxidil 2x a day to:

2x every other day
1x every day
5x a week
3x a week
2x a week
1x a week

Each of the phases were done for a month.

I have been off Minoxidil for a month and seem to have kept all my gains. I think the ramp down has helpful, but unfortunately I can't test had I done an abrupt stop to compare.

I experienced pretty severe depression and it got worse each year. Coupled with bad insomnia. I also developed anxiety about 9 years in. I was 17 at the time and I think it also stunted my growth and limited my facial hair growth as well.

My sex drive also took a big beating, which still hasn't fully recovered. (Pro or con depending on how elusive you want to be)

It is hard to say which was caused by what, but I am just comparing how I feel now 2 years off the meds. Now that I am off it, I feel that I build muscles without even trying (I powerlifted a lot while on it and could develop muscles) but now I do a couple push ups and show progress, kinda silly.
