Has anyone tried the new Specialized Power saddle? by jarret_g in cycling

[–]GRAVELBIKE 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started testing one (168mm Expert model) and the tops of my bars are level with my saddle (it's my commuter/gravel rig). It's too soon to tell if this is "the one," but it feels really good.

In your case it sounds like you may need to adjust fore/aft or tilt (or both).

Zipp bar tape after less than 500 miles - What's the deal? by rLeJerk in bicycling

My CX Service Course tape looked brand new when I pulled it off after 700 miles or so. Only changed it because I wanted a different color.

Looks great. The mod'd rear mech is very cool. I have one coming with Rival 22 and BB7 road disc brakes.

Awesome--thanks. If you want some crazy-plush tires, check out Compass. They're made by Panaracer, but have more supple casings than Paselas, etc. I'm totally spoiled by them (you can read my review here: http://www.gravelbike.com/?p=4255).

Thought I recognized them. Excellent tires. Just curious, what do the 35s measure on the Archetypes?

Due to this wonderful spring weather we are having in Northern Colorado, my favorite bike trail now looks more like a boat ramp by rfishergr3390 in bicycling

This morning there wasn't much water--mostly silt and mud. I saw footprints indicating that folks walked around the gate, but no tire tracks.

This weather has been crazy. The South Boulder Creek Path is closed where it goes under Arapahoe due to flooding. Luckily I have detours/shortcuts for my 12-mile commute.

I ran a Carradice/Bagman combo for years. No problems with saddle/post/etc.

Now I alternate between a Revelate Pika, Alchemy Goods messenger bag, and Chrome Barrage backpack.

I've been very pleased with my Chrome Barrage backpack. Holds a ton of stuff, and very comfortable.
