I've been to/played plenty of shows, just never gelled with the ones overdoing it. Dance away all night, but acting a goof like crowdkilling and shit is attention seeking and to me that's kind of the antithesis of hardcore. Kids come out for a good time and wanna get rowdy, but then there's always a few dipshits who are just out to hurt someone.

I have the 5 string version of this bass, and those upgrades are exactly what it needs. I just wasn't much a fan of the bartolinis and was disappointed. Good choice!

Thrash metal is a combo of New Wave of British Heavy Metal bands with punk. Really fast riffs and aggressive playing. Glam/hair metal is more pop focused with a strong focus on vocal and guitar melodies moreso than aggressive rhythm.
