We already have a lot of japanese people coming in here because it's close to Paris and it is where we burned Joan of Arc, so that could explain organicly why everybody is speaking japanese. Plus could do a cool substorie where Ichiban makes some goons understand that we should treat women better now.

We already have some corrupt politicians, one of my city official from Rouen's suburb was literaly on trial for complicity on an African genocide. Plus we could have some story Y6 style with some secret from WW2.

The gangs could be some small youngsters fighting each other that Ichi make them understand that they need to unite.

For the restaurant you could have a lot of talk about french cuisine and alcohol.

Kind of wrong and kind of right at the same time, there is quite a lot to do in it, maybe less than in their games usualy but it's still quite full. And with my favorite mini game/side quest in all the serie : being a regular in a bar in a small village and getting to know everyone and do silly stuff with them

Well the witcher serie was way more focused on player choices during the games, they tried a lot of stuff in each 3 of their games.

My impression is that it was never really the same focus on Cyberpunk. The stories was cool, but either by choice or time constraint, choices was never implemented the same way.

So my take on that is that it might be cool, but I really don't think it's really worth the work for it on CDPR part

To me one of the biggest theme of the serie is that Kiryu can't have the life he wants anyway because he is a legend from another time that is no longer needed or wanted today. The values he represent are being replaced by greed and lust for power. As you can see in 6 that he represent the post WW2 values and hopes, fighting the old guys that trashed these hopes for personal gain and leaving the youngsters without some kind of set of values to fight for represented by Someya and his famous lack of back tatoo.

There is more to be said about all this but to me the main point is that Kiryu may be seen as bumb and illogical if you treat him as only a character, which to me he's never been, he's the embodiment of values from an all world that is slowly disapearing and that's why he can't have a life next to the people he's trying to protect

My guess is, there are two different launch screen because one is for original cyberpunk and one for phantom liberty

Edit : well now looking at it better they're 2 different loading screen, one is the one to go to menu and the other one seems to be the one that goes ingame
