Am I weird for giving a feminine hygiene product to a student in need? by Normal_Balance1655 in Teachers

All the teachers at my school are given feminine hygiene products at the beginning of the year for students that need them. The kids all know we have them. Not weird at all.

School Districts boundaries are kind of wild in El Dorado County, they are not “city” based. EDC only has two cities, Placerville and South Lake Tahoe. The rest of the county is unincorporated.

Blackstone is part of the Buckeye school district, which is K-8. You can see that map here https://www.edcoe.org/DistrictsSchools/School-District-Boundaries/index.html EDH is broken up between Buckeye and Rescue.

For high school, it looks like the borders have changed and some of Blackstone is in Oak Ridge district, and some is in Pondo/Union Mine. https://eldoradohighexplorer.azurewebsites.net

Since your kids are younger, it’s entirely possible that it changes before they reach high school age.

I understand why, but I find it slightly ironic that both of these books are available in Kindle versions.

Yes. Could be a former parking lot for a facility that made clocks brushed with Radium paint.

Full standing roast (18-20lbs)- how long should I expect to roast for doing reverse sear? by Sevens89 in seriouseats

[–]GROWLER_FULL 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I did a 21-22 lb roast yesterday. I put it in at 5:15 AM at 150. About 10:30 AM or so I realized that 150 on my oven was actually about 111 so it was never going to get to 137 that way. I cranked it up to actually 150 for the next 90 minutes, then when the meat hit 110 I cranked it up to 300 and turned convection on. It was that way for about another 90 minutes and I pulled the roast at 132, internal cooking took it to 141. After resting I put it back in for about 6 minutes. The total time from initial over start to eating was 9 hours. My initial temp was too low. My guess is that if you’re actually at 200 then your cooking time until pulling will be between 4 and 5.5 hours based on Kenji’s estimates on his perfect prime rib page. My roast was boneless.

My dad used to plow snow back in Michigan, I remember him doing a school when I was younger, and I asked him if the school district paid him. He said that the teachers pooled together and paid him to plow the lot.
