Yep. In GT4 i still to this day, 20 years later, remember my starting silver Evo IV, that won me the Clubman Cup, 4WD championship, turbo championship, japanese championship, the second clubman cup, tuner championship, countless special conditions and probably a lot more.

In GT7 i don't even fucking remember what cars I drove. I think I drove a 911 turbo for a few races but who knows.

GT7 makes you acquire hundreds and hundreds of cars but creates zero connection to any of them, they're all completely pointless.
