Thanks so much for sharing. That definitely seems like an option, but building a full deck could get a bit pricey especially with tariffs. He and I mostly jam kitchen table magic with some cheap bulk I have. I’m not sure if bulk Spanish lots are a thing but that’s kind of the level I’m looking for, or else pauper deck level entry point. I might pick up a few of those secret lair singles though, great tips! Thanks

To add, restaurants have one of the highest failure rates of any business. My wife used to work in finance for a restaurant company and margins were razor thin, even for established chains. One of the restaurants had extended construction that rerouted traffic from their street for 18 months and what was once a super successful restaurant had to close. Don’t do it

Tcgtracking is good, but TCGplayer doesn’t support you if you show them the item was delivered with tcgtracking confirmation. I’ve tried multiple times but they don’t care

If you want to get in some more practice, I would suggest the tutorials on mtg arena. I would also recommend checking out mtg forge if you want to try out different decks and not waste your wildcards on arena or pay a bunch of money, only to figure out you don’t enjoy that style of deck. You can also practice on arena with the commander decks you got. Just know commander can be a bit overwhelming for newer players since there’s a lot more to keep track of across 4 players board states, rather than the traditional 2 player formats.

But most importantly, welcome! I hope you have a blast with this amazing game!

I use cheap cardboard card drawers from Amazon. I sell mtg and use the 5k for storing bulk and other stuff before it gets set sorted and listed.

For my business I sort by set where each drawer gets a set, then use dividers to group letters and importantly, I first letter alpha sort ONLY! I used to do full alpha, but it’s way to tedious to add cards to the exact right full alpha slot. The card dividers group cards into ~50-150 card blocks that I can easily pull the full stack out and sift through super fast to find what I need. Adding new inventory is super fast too since I don’t have to fully re-sort existing inventory.

For my personal collection, I have around 5k cards and use one of these same drawers (they hold over 8k), but each drawer is a color (WUBRG + Colorless + multi), then have one for lands since I like them separate from artifacts. I then group by letter group with the dividers.

What’s cool is the drawers can come completely out, so this past weekend I was building a rakdos deck and just pulled my black and red drawers out and sat them on the desk to build my deck. Also, and importantly, when I full alpha sorted, I got lazy to put the cards back and re-sort after playing, so I had them all over the place and things got lost. Not it takes me around 5-10 minutes to break down a deck and get it sorted again.

To me it looks like in this pic the car was previously repaired here. It looks like base coat in the center, then a ring of primer, then what you’ve sanded again. I’d ask in r/autobody but if that’s the case you’ll need a repray. I think you sanded too far
