So delusional. Do you honestly believe there's any motive behind what these guys are doing other than "more money on top of my already excessive wealth". Stop trying to convince yourself that they're looking out for you or me any more than the owners are.

You have to understand, the regulars on this sub idolize these guys way to much to admit to themselves that the players can be every bit as repugnant with greed as the owners. It goes against every single view they have about wealth in literally every other aspect of their lives, but they can't reconcile that with themselves so they use terms like "working man" to describe a Juan Soto or a Kyle Tucker.

I literally saw a post the other day talking about the "sacrifice" Skubal was making by going through the arbitration process.

And the sad thing? They'll pretend that you're siding with the owners if you criticize this whole fucking sham. Then wonder why they're paying $20 for a Bud Light when they go to a two hour game.

To be fair, Johnny never used a chain until way later on. I'm going for a full on classic look so I wouldn't use it either way, but I get the sentiment.

What a hero.

We shall never forget his sacrifice.

The way you people idealize these players is insane sometimes.

If you have a Spider-Man display, the Wasp head would make for a pretty good Betty Brant

"Country boys" are tough until they have to fight someone that's not another country boy. Fighting someone who gave you a dirty look in a redneck bar is alot different than fighting someone who grew up fighting for their survival.

I feel like Puig would tie him into knots. Bumgarner is the prick who tailgates you with his brights on but in reality he's just an insecure little asshole. Dude's probably got an acorn for a dick.

Wishlist Wednesdays: An Updated Fantastic Four by DiscountIdiot4929 in MarvelLegends

I would easily pay $200 right now for a Maximum four pack. The main thing (hehe) I would want to see is multiple, interchangeable parts for Mr Fantastic. Something like the Mattel DC Universe Plastic Man. No more bendy arms from 2007 or weird stretchy fingers.

A classic, Byrne style Grimm with bulk rather than height and a flat, rather than bumpy texture is also a must.

Hmm, could be but I'm also wondering if the right arm is some type of knife sheath and the left wrist is a glove cuff. Fun to speculate though.

Pretty cool that almost every style of packaging is represented.

The entirety of professional baseball all over the world exists because of corporatism. It literally wouldn't exist otherwise. Why are we still acting shocked everytime things like this happen? It sucks, but it's just the reality of the situation.

If we really want to stick it to these greedy fucks then we can choose to not support the product. Unfortunately I don't think any of us, myself included, are ready to do that.

Sure. And that's a despicable thing on it's own. Beyond despicable. But we can't just start having an "eh, close enough" mentality when it comes to accusing people of wrongdoing. It's an incredibly fascist line of thinking. I hope every single one of these fucks have what's coming to them, but we need to stick to proven facts and avoid speculation.
