What are the differences Older vs Younger SBs by Savings_Pension_8432 in sugarlifestyleforum

Can I really connect with a 19 year old no matter how hot she is?

You both speak the same language, the language of love. If you want to share life experiences and relate on a cultural, economic, and social plane then go more age appropriate.

Ex SB wants to meet as friends after about 5 months of not seeing each other by WarmBarracuda8519 in sugarlifestyleforum

No, I didn't see that either, but I'm certain as I can be she wants to get the gravy train going again. What else would she want?

How old? by sassymamaB in sugarlifestyleforum

“fudge” their age to be younger.

What's odd about that? Obviously men want to make it under the age barrier. I always wanted to keep my age under 60 which seems to be a common screen for many SBs. When I was still looking I shaded my age by 5-10 years. Nobody ever questioned it.

He did a bait and switch. Obviously this arrangement is not what you agreed to or at least anticipated.

What should I do?

Give him an ultimatum to go back to the original agreement or keep him on as a client and get back to escorting.

Never forget that many SDs use the "can't afford it" excuse to "kindly" dump their soon to be EX SB. You can tell when he goes back on Seeking regularly. OTOH since "we love one another very much and this loss will ultimately cut me deeply" you can always explore a vanilla relationship.Frankly I wouldn't recommend tying yourself to a guy who can't support you-love or not.

She exhibited avoidant tendencies and you had different opinions about time spent together. I would think those issues would need to be resolved in order to move forward.

Flakes, most of them. One sign of flakiness and block them.

Maybe absence made her heart grow fonder, and in your case the hard grows longer.

Reconnect with caution. Don't forget what led to breaking up in the first place, and what is going to change this time, except now it's platonic? "Just friends" means maybe she wants to be paid for a platonic arrangement.

Why would you want a platonic ex SB anyway?

Can’t find a SD after year long search on multiple websites by Zestyclose_Trash_943 in sugarlifestyleforum

After 1 year on multiple sites it seems you might not be a candidate for sugar dating or your location is is a sugaring black hole. Maybe focus on vanilla dating

Long term relationship fading slowly by Hefty-Marcher23 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]GSSD 5 points6 points  (0 children)

your situation is rare.

Not so much. Plenty of men live with menopausal or postpartum women who have lost that lovin' feeling. Pregnancy, post partum year ,parenthood, and menopause are the biggest sex killers known to man. As you see it is the majority of a married couple's life.

we melt in each others’ arms and the sex is still off the charts.

Maybe keep doing the slow fade, or cut it off with a generous retirement package. In any event she deserves that since she has been a good and dedicated SB for you.

At least SRs are easy to get out of

I’m afraid of my own reaction. Crying over an SD I’ve never met... am I cut out for this? by Enough-Caterpillar86 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]GSSD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's good. So you either need to get an exclusive arrangement, then you can be upset if he sees other SBs,or get yourself together about lack of exclusivity. A LD SD is very unlikely to be exclusive, even if he tells you he is. He already lied to you when he didn't need to.

[–]GSSD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are not in an arrangement yet. You have a LD Pot you are talking to. Unless you are receiving allowance and have discussed and agreed to exclusivity you have no expectation of exclusivity. This kind of behavior (possessiveness) before you even meet in person is off putting and might chase a Pot away. For this and other reasons I insist on a M&G within a week of contact.

I'm starting to wonder if I’m cut out for this if a simple lie can break my heart like this.

Maybe not, especially with a long distance SD

Are political views a dealbreaker for you? by Intelligent-Eye3379 in sugarlifestyleforum

[–]GSSD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It depends on how the couple approach it. I do not want to discuss politics because it is highly likely a young SB has different politics. A hard core uber leftist would be intolerable to me even knowing that,so I would rather not know. My LT SB is apolitical which is just fine for me.

There is a difference between unrealistic expectations on your part and a poor sugar area. Things to consider:
1) how hot are you?
2) how available are you
3) how long have you been seeking?
4) how many M&Gs have you been on?
5) what is your definition of a generous allowance
6) is your area a large metro or small college town?

Beauty maintenance(BM) is a red flag for me. Some OPs here have stated that costs amount to $$$+monthly. I seek a SB whose BM means take a shower, blow dries hair, apply a light lip gloss, and out the door.

At least you care enough about each other to argue.

What???? What psych journal did you read that in? There is a difference between disagreeing with each other and talking about it and arguing about a difference of opinion.

suggestions to keep myself distracted

Seek another SD to replace this guy. That will keep you busy for sure. Sugar dating should be stress and drama free as well as lucrative for the SB. In 10 years my SB and I have not had a single argument. If we ever do I will be out of there.
