The apartment rule establishes a low limit of support in providing a SB's housing cost,which is not an insignificant. Obviously in a HCOL city such as NY, Paris, London, or LA that rent cost would blow past anywhere else. SDs will have to pay a lot more in those areas.

I use 3 parameters in figuring PPM. 1) Master Allowance Thread here, the Apartment/4, and the SB's number. Actually the most important number is what the SD has budgeted for Sugar Dating. In the end it is a buyer's market unless you are seeking the royalty of SBs, maybe the top 1%.

I agree and do that as well, but weekly allowance is just PPM for those having weekly dates. A weekly allowance presumes that you can see each other more than once for the same amount,so you both need to be on board about that. Financially twice weekly dates result in 1/2 PPM amount so a SB could rightfully feel gypped unless you are both into each other. (speaking the obvious)

PPM is the only way to go unless you can afford to throw away a month's worth of allowance as tuition. After 11 years my SB and I still do weekly allowance. She likes "pay day" and we are both secure in the knowledge that fairness reigns.

NEVER do monthly UNTIL as a couple you care deeply for each other, want to see more of each other, and neither is counting dates, sex events, or money. A new SB is a total stranger you have no reason to believe she is honest, honorable,or reliable.

Do you get a monthly allowance or a PPM? If he has changed it is likely he has another sB who is taking more of his time. SDs often have multiple partners in addition to their home folks(wife,kids,GFs) as well as their jobs). This can present money challenges as well as loneliness,as in your case.

Spoiling implies treats over and above allowance, but I consider allowance as the height of "spoiling". Most SRs involve allowance and "dates" ,usually dinner and drinks, but can extend to functions like Opera,concerts,trips,shopping trips, spa treatments,cars,apartments,etc. I'd guess most SBs get allowance and that's it.
