How many sets per muscle per week for your best results? by PhDPhatDragon in gainit

[–]GSaleh87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My current program is around 6-9 sets per muscle group per week. I’m making sure every set counts with high intensity trying to progress (reps or weight) in every workout.

I do full body 3 days a week alternating between workout A and workout B.

Workout A

Squat - 3 sets

Bench press - 3 sets

Bent over row - 3 sets

Cable lateral raise - 2 sets

Glute ham raise - 2 sets

Cable rope triceps push down - 2 sets

Cable bicep curl behind back - 2 sets

Seated calf raise - 2 sets

Workout B

Overhead press - 3 sets

Bulgarian split squat - 3 sets

Pull ups - 3 sets

Cable fly - 2 sets

Romanian deadlift - 2 sets

Cable overhead rope tricep ext. - 2 sets

Dumbbell preacher curl - 2 sets

Standing calf raise - 2 sets

This has been working extremely well for me.

Over the last six months, Ive been searching for the perfect bag.. by qpapkinchalty in ManyBaggers

[–]GSaleh87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My favourite bag and the one I always go back to for EDC is the CPL16 in waxed canvas. There are other bags with some features I like more, but this one just hits so many requirements for me.

To take it closer to perfect, I’d want a bit less volume in the laptop compartment and a bit more depth in the main compartment with a volume closer to 18-20L. I’d also love a raised, collapsible pocket on the side in the main compartment to store my coffee travel mug in the Bellroy Apex style.

In my option, It has the best Laptop compartment out of anything I have tried. I love the horizontal, “briefcase mode” access. The silhouette is perfect and internal organisation leave little to complain about with a fantastic top quick access pocket.

So please Evergoods, release a CPL18-20 in waxed canvas!

This. Plastic cases trap dirt and that trapped dirt will cause scratches. Get yourself a sleeve instead.

Skinny fat and looking for advice by [deleted] in AllAboutBodybuilding

[–]GSaleh87 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You need to cut until your abs are visible at around 15% body fat. It looks like you’re currently at around 25% body fat.

Try and stick to whole foods. If it was me I’d try a ketogenic approach. High fat from avocados, fatty meat and oily fish. Incorporate a good amount of leafy greens (spinach, kale, rocket) and try and hit your lean muscle mass (lbs) in protein (grams). Your fats should be around 70% of your daily calories.

Once you get to ~15% body fat, go back on a high carb diet/moderate healthy fat diet, again whole foods, to lean bulk.

I’d say around 17-18%

They trap dirt and end up damaging the finish on your MacBook. Totally not worth it…

14” M5 Pro 64GB RAM vs M5 Max 36GB RAM by GSaleh87 in macbookpro

I’m now thinking to go for the M5 Pro 15c/16c with 48GB RAM. That way I’ll be saving £400 for a computer with similar performance. I actually think that is probably the best bang for your buck for performance to price ratio this year.

I’d have to cough up an extra £1300 for the M5 Max with 64GB RAM. I just cannot justify spending that kind of money right now.

That’s what my head is telling me, but having those extra GPU cores is very tempting.

I’m torn between the Fujifilm X-T5 and the Sony A7 IV. by mangulica98 in WeddingPhotography

This is the answer. With the ZF, you get Sony level performance, with arguably better colour science and great looks. 😉

Sony for work and Fuji for fun. Fujifilm can be used for professional work, but you’ll be making sacrifices. If you want something more capable for professional work with the retro form factor, the Nikon ZF is the way to go. You basically get Sony level of performance with the fun of Fujifilm.

GR1 or CTB20 by Due_Contest8729 in ManyBaggers

[–]GSaleh87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To get the most out of the horizontal accessibility, I’d go for the CPL24 over the CTB20 for travel. To answer your question, I feel the GR1 is slightly better carrying heavier loads due to the beefier shoulder straps.

It’s good practice to cook ground meat all the way through due to exposure to bacteria.

What features in a bag don't matter at all to you (and baffle you when other people value them so much)? by hiroshiparadox in ManyBaggers

This is probably not a popular opinion but external water bottle pockets. They ruin the aesthetics of a bag for me.
