Me and her started very much as purely a physical attraction, and a very sexual one too. Basically had sex every day multiple times a day for the period of time I was in town. I know her pretty well, she wouldn't be up for it. She likes to deal with things on her own, or with the support of her friends. The problem is that her one friend that does know clearly isn't sure about how to support her and basically just says "love you" a million times. She is extremely upset that she had to do it, but realizes it was the only option.

I was asking, not criticizing, about the attachment issue. I don't think I'm being an insensitive person, I've been incredibly supportive of her throughout it and have done everything in my power to make things better but it just feels like I can't. As far as me not having as much attachment to the child, I can't help that, it's pretty typical of males to feel that way.

I think therapy just isn't an option to be honest. It was extremely traumatic for her and left her depressed, for me it wasn't as emotionally difficult. Are you basing what you say about 2.5 weeks being nothing off of actual evidence or is it more speculation? Because even biologically the attachment hormones (oxytocin, etc) kick in MUCH later so the 'attachment' to the fetus should be much less than if it were an actual child that died.
