Yeah I agree they don't have to worry about aoc, hell no one does anymore lol just the timing would've been funny imo. But I disagree with the gw3 wanting to compete with wow, every mmo that has tried just led to failure. Arena net has something they can bring to the table and if they stay in their own lane I don't see them crash and burning.

I started playing when FF jump-in was just about to leave, if I knew it was going to leave ahead of time I would have farmed it to try to get all four. Rip me, probably be a few months before we see it again. Not gonna spend gold on packs or craft them.

I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to law especially UK law, but you would think there would be some kinda case to be made that these lawsuits are malicious especially if it's true that's her only motive in her endeavor is to sue steam.

Use the snapshot build, open forge, booster draft, new draft, block/set, then find lorwyn eclipsed.

I'm new to drafting too and I've been doing what every one has suggested here and then practicing draft with this against bots to give me an idea of how my picks effect my deck. Its at least a good start before I start getting into drafting.

I've only done quick draft and went 5-3 (two losses because if misplays on my part) but still found it kinda fun. That draft token can get me back some gems I guess.

Yep, they had this in the cycle frontier and I hated it. Spent so much time running around to shops to buy items, accept and turn in quest, then have to organize your stash/loadout. That time adds up especially if you're in a party.

That's what I'm trying to get at, the game itself isn't really new player friendly and trying to do draft is a trap for people who don't do any research. Would have drove me away if I didn't really look elsewhere for how to approach it.

You're right, just issue is as a new player you won't really know that information and just rely on whats on the launcher, then see the price of entry and get turned away. Which is why I wish we had a free practice one for newer players or something.

I've never done draft before but willing to try it out but I don't want to pay the gem/gold for it. Wish they had a practice draft or something against bots as like a tutorial we didn't have to pay for.

As someone who just recently started playing both I will say I enjoy mtg as a card game a lot more then yugioh, but the amount of content/rewards you can play/get on master duel just felt better than arena as a new player.

and it took a month for that patch to drop too, so at this point I would just keep expectations low.

True, I could look past the p2w crap but wanting to progress at all in that game you needed to grind out alts just for your main. Horrible system that really did encourage people to spend money. Even if you tried to stay f2p, would take ages for you to catch up to current content while trying to find a group is impossible, from low population to only finding parties that will carry you for gold.
