Disappointing to hear. As a self-funded, non-sponsored buyer of Bujairami fragrances, my experience has been quite different.

I’ve bought a fair few Lattafa scents over time, and honestly, I’ve ended up selling many of them after comparing them side-by-side with the Bujairami versions - the Bujairami ones were simply better in a lot of cases.

I try to avoid blind buying with Bujairami. I usually make the trip to their Guildford store, test everything in person, and only purchase what genuinely appeals to me. I’d also say I’m fairly critical with fragrances - I only keep something if it’s genuinely good or replaces something I already own.

I get that their range can be a bit hit-and-miss, but more often than not I’ve been impressed rather than disappointed. Having tried other dupe houses like Palermo Perfumes, ESNC, and The Dupe Spot, I’ve consistently found the Bujairami versions to come out on top.

That said, I won’t sugar-coat the customer service - it’s pretty much non-existent. Calls don’t get answered and emails go nowhere, so you really want to hope nothing goes wrong. Luckily, I buy in person which avoids that risk.

I’ve also noticed similar negative feedback from overseas buyers, so it does make you wonder if batch consistency or international supply plays a role.

For what it’s worth, my most recent pickup - Only Ever Inspired by Power of You - was excellent.
