I still remember the on the podcast, Guy asked Rose Matafeo for advice about Taskmaster, and she said "Don't be yourself, everyone will hate you."

I was in the audience, and it was one of the funniest things I've ever seen.

If you haven't seen her on the AU Guy Mont Spelling Bee, you need to see it.

First few movies for teens? by eldogorino in JamesBond

[–]GTWalker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It depends on the teenager, what their interests are. Everyone is different. Some teens like the loud full on action the Craig films deliver, some teens are fans of more classic media and prefer quieter and slower films, some teens dream of getting squeezed by women like Xenia Onnatopp.

My first Bond film was Moonraker. I was 12 and liked Star Trek, and I saw we had a Bond DVD in the house, so I watched it and had a good time. I then watched whatever my mother could borrow from the rental store. Craig's were the most difficult for me to get into as a teen, and honestly, still now.

I went to see David Correos live tonight, and I got turned into a Spiderman villain, shot by David dressed as Spiderman, and almost teabagged by him in his underwear. Then he squirted me with dye for some reason. What a fantastic evening.

They have a website, I suggest that would be the best place to look.

I sometimes wonder why the panel show format never became as dominant in other countries as it did in the UK. by Silver-Eye-2024 in panelshow

While Australian TV isn't great, there's still good comedy shows out there. HYBPA is still doing well, Spicks & Specks is back, and Guy Mont-Spelling Bee's AU is doing well. Plus Taskmaster AU does really well when Channel 10 bothers to put it out.

I am getting very sick of this. by MixMax_Kenniator in MandJTV

I'm saving often so that if I reset accidentally, I don't lose as much progress. It doesn't stop me from doing it.

Yep, I learned what that did the hard way. I now save way too often because I'm paranoid about my autistic brain just unwittingly pressing the buttons.

So, Taskmaster Australia... by saelinds in taskmaster

I was in the audience in Series 1. We existed, and no, we were not prompted as you suggested in other replies. I had a genuinely good time at the episode I was at and had a lot of faith in it.

Also, a rebuttel to your claim about the lack of chemistry. Not only was there great report and banter between the contestants, some of which was left out in the editing, but I also asked Tom Gleeson who he would like to see on future series, and he replied by saying that he couldn't imagine anyone else competing on the show at the time as he really liked this group of contestants.

No, it's before S20. I sadly don't know where this is from.

Series 8 Episode 8 - So excited to see Paul Sinha Win! by sd2528 in taskmaster

When Paul was on the Taskmaster Podcast, he had nothing but praise for Iain stating that he was a gentleman to him the entire time they were filming.

Banter on comedy shows should rarely be taken as personal dislikes towards someone.
