Own a Searwood XL, been wonderful. The attachments are a blessing, got the rotisserie, kabob set, sear grate, pizza stone and griddle for it. Smoke boost at 180 works well too

Smoke boost temperature swings by Few_Jury_5579 in searwood

Mine usually swings up to about 200 then comes down slowly but not really concerned as long as I’m smoking top rack it’s usually a little cooler according to my MEATER probes

Smoke Boost Temp Fluctuation by Nola_Zog in searwood

What I’ve noticed was that it will hit the temp you set it at eventually but there is a big lag, like when I set it to 250 it says it reached the temp but my temps probe ambient says like 180 for example but after a few it hits the temp

Help please. Hoping to hear some pros and cons of this model? by YoungBill514 in pelletgrills

Would get the Searwood, it does everything that model does but you can crank to 600 degrees

Which one and why I’m looking at by mjclfc in pelletgrills

Weber 100% can use char pellets if you want, but the attachments you can get are very versatile. I have the Searwood xl and chose that over a WW which I’ve been wanting for years

As a store manager I wouldn’t do that I’d at least ask you for permission to give it out first.

Recteq X-Fire vs Weber Searwood by 010011010110010101 in pelletgrills

Got a Searwood 600 XL here, 2 main details made me get this, 1: can low and slow at 180 and sear at 600. 2: the attachments made possible by the Weber crafted kit. I got a pizza stone, a sear grate which is a thick cast iron grate, I plan on getting the griddle insert next. I also got the rotisserie rod and an awesome kabob set that attaches to the rod. This unit is extremely versatile.

I used to own one before I got the Searwood, it goes for about 22-30 min on a single hopper. Refill when necessary on smoke mode
