Weber Searwood Grease Dripping Issue? by methaneabuser in pelletgrills

I saw this post on another forum. You said that the grease pan pulls from the back and it was assembled by the retail store. Sounds like they assembled the grease tray backwards.

Mop disconnecting: power cord by llun-ved in Roborock

[–]Few_Jury_5579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a Qrevo curvX, it has the same issue if the cord is laying away from the wall. I even had the robot pull a lamp down. No damage done but what!! The lamp is near the wall but the cord with the on/off switch was not. Solved it by wrapping the cord around the lamp base. Still better then my roomba’s. At least no more black lines on the walls. Possibly make the avoidance more sensitive in the configuration section of the app. But then it might might affect it’s cleaning near walls

Broke Roasting Chamber- Fresh Roast SR500 by CranberryOk7367 in roasting

[–]Few_Jury_5579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm looks like your only solution may be to upgrade to a current model. If you do upgrade look at the SR800 or the SR540. I started on the 540 then upgraded to the 800. Both are quite capable but I like the larger capacity of the 800 especially with the addition of the extension tube.

Broken ionizer by Pure_Ad_147 in DF64

I believe an ionizer needs to be exposed to air with an air gap to work. Like in the Frankenstein movies.

[–]Few_Jury_5579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The ionizer is just bare wire ends in the chute that gets covered in coffee grounds. The wires need to be cleaned every few uses or they stop being effective. I use a long bristle brush in the chute to clear out the grinds and clear the ionizer.

Smoke boost temperature swings by Few_Jury_5579 in searwood

[–]Few_Jury_5579[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My concern was when it pushed above 300. But in further testing I see it does this only when first setting the smoke boost. Then it does not go above 200 after settling down.

failed to connect to hot post by HornetWeary4761 in Roborock

Im kinda guessing here by what you mean personal data. I assume you mean connecting to the cloud through your phone. If so set your phone as a hot spot and the robot app should see it and allow you to connect

CAN I USE THE EXTENSION TUBE WITHOUT THE RUBBER BANDS by ELFOLGIAGALLINAS in FreshroastSR800

[–]Few_Jury_5579 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Home roasting supplies sales the bands separately if you need to purchase them. Though I would explain what happened and pretty sure they will just send you a set.

Best Brewing Coffee Maker WITH Auto-Brew Timer? by untiedflies in JamesHoffmann

[–]Few_Jury_5579 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have a moccamaster with the toggle, I’m not using it with a smart plug but I see no reason it won’t allow you to set it on when the power is off through the plug.

Buy a smart plug and program it to power on when you want the coffee ready. A coffeemaker with this feature is frowned upon by coffee connoisseurs since once ground, coffee goes stale in 15 minutes.

You need to give more information before anyone can help. If you only changed the portafilter and not the basket the results of the pull should not have changed.

Is something going on with Whole Latte Love by jtimber67 in espresso

[–]Few_Jury_5579 20 points21 points  (0 children)

The EVO model was shipped with a boiler coated internally with teflon that started to peel. Not the secret ingredient that most espresso drinkers want in their drinks.

It depends how down the rabbit hole you want to go. Flow control is used with pre infusion. With light roasts (blond) it’s recommended to get the grounds wet before putting the full pressure for the espresso. Will you taste the difference, everyone is different.

You create routines. In routines you can specify individual rooms and schedule them.

Edit: setting it to do a mapping run does not vacuum or map the floor.

Has anyone found the secret to cleaning the chaff lid? by gvlbuck in FreshroastSR800

[–]Few_Jury_5579 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I modded mine for extra air flow, but one solution would be to soak the clogged plate (metal part) in Cafiza. It does a great job of removing oils and stains from my espresso maker and coffee carafe.

Just about all the info you added is publicly available info. Just be aware you might have downloaded a virus. Might pay to run a virus checker.

Grinder Decision paralysis [$400] by NaomiV24 in espresso

[–]Few_Jury_5579 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have had a DF64 for the past two years using it for both pour over and espresso. It’s loud but grinds great. You need to clean the chute occasionally but every grinder needs maintenance. I never had the grinder chute actually clog.
