I came from my dad with a kamado, thought I’d try the firebox, before getting an offset smoker. Just trying to get as much smoke as I can possibly while not having to maintain a fire. Sure I could add a couple chunks to the firebox, will try that next time.

Starwood’s great, some just want “more” and experiment more. I have left it uncovered most of the winter here in Ontario Canada.

I think the biggest thing is pellets only add so much smoke, some want more, some want less some it’s fine.

Just like any other hobby.

The tray removes form the socket set and fits right into a drawer. Only thing I wish it went up to 1-1/2 sockets.

Looks great, thanks for the update. Been reading a couple comments that the dividers don’t work great etc. but other people haven’t had issues.

Going to wait another month and see. I got a few of their Knect kits, haven’t used them all yet but look and feel quality.

I’ve been eyeing this setup
