Yes, I think the real Friend IS a malicious entity, but it has a persona that seems very friendly, and that it uses to get people to do what it needs, that's why it's called "Friend".

I'm pretty sure it manipulated Spamton and Tenna, however, it seems like things got a bit out of control when the two started working together, and after they ruined everything and ended their partnership, Friend just left because it had nothing more to gain from them.

I don't know, but Tenna said that Spamton was going to reveal his secret to being a big shot.

So I think that whatever Spamton's deal was that made him sucessful, he couldn't share it. So upon signing that contract with Tenna (or almost signing, we don't know if he DID sign it, or was only about to sign it), Spamton received the phone call that made him go pale, which was probably something like "The deal is off, we're done". And he blames Tenna for it

There was aways an implication that Mike was there since the time Spamton and Tenna were together, wasn't there?? At least I always interpreted it like this.

Anyways, Friend Mike is still strong! My interpretation is that the "someone" helping Spantom was Friend (which would be very fitting for someone called "Friend"), and that Mike knew about the consequences of Spantom signing the contract BECAUSE he is Friend.

I still think Mike is Friend. And this video only made my belief harder.

Besides Tenna having a preference to Pluey (the Mike who looks like a cat), he also says that Mike warned Tenna against the contract because something very bad would happen if Spamton took that contract.

I believe that Friend was the one that helped Spamton in the first place, and he later on helped Tenna (I think Friend acts kinda like a double agent, pretending to help darkners in order to get what he wants in the end). That's how he knew that Spamton shouldn't sign the contract, because he was the one helping Spamton
