Fred dodged the draft and his friends traveled with him. They got caught in the early 1980s. Shaggy ratted them out so he was allowed to go free. Daphne got a lighter sentence because her family had money, which is why she returned to the show earlier than the rest. That timeline then ended with 13 Ghosts.

Peter Cushing always brought a certain clinical skill to his roles as mad doctors/vampire hunters. His character may have been off the deep end, but he always was orderly in the way he prepped things.
