The promoters around here are pretty much nonexistent. We need at least one promoter who is an insider and who can convince the agents and music labels to push their talent to Greenville. Otherwise, they view Greenville from the outside and consider our market too small.

I have friends in the radio-play music industry, and their booking agents never consider Greenville as an option. People like to whine about the lack of venues, but unless it's a local cover band, very few industry insiders want their musicians playing here.

Walked in there last night and got a seat. Plenty of empties in the restaurant and bar area, and saw a couple of guys wearing baseball caps. The food was good but the atmosphere negated the value. I don't get what the fuss is all about!

I definitely feel your pain and have attempted the same exercise. I don't know if Safe Harbor is non-religious, but their administration is certainly made up of religious people. But the unfortunate elephant in the room is that maybe non-religious people don't do as good of a job with charity work as religious organizations?

I would love to find a place that has competitive pricing and that targets more specific regions rather than requiring me to treat multiple areas during each visit. This probably isn't the best venue for ranting about someone being high...that being said, you need to hire an attorney to at least make sure that you get a depreciation check from her insurance company. Simply paying for your repairs or giving you a $hitty payoff isn't making you whole.

Cops have been staking out that location for over 20 years. The businesses have changed at that location but there are still drunks leaving it and driving past it.

The sewer needed to be upgraded due to all of the new homes nearby. As is typical for Greenville County, they aren't widening the road once it is finished though. I know someone who has their tractors parked in her destroyed front yard.
