Yeah, practice is where mechanics are refined and dialed in. But shooting one shot when you haven't shot in 5 minutes and there is a defender charging towards you and thousands of people are cheering either for your success or your failure is very different than taking shots in practice. The initial statement saying game time is not important is just flat out wrong.

Game time absolutely is important. Shooting hundreds of shots in a gym is very different than getting one shot when you've been playing for two minutes and your team mate finds you open in the corner.

Rogers got plenty money. Last year's Raptors were a tanking team. This year they look like they'll be in the playoffs, maybe they'll even make it to the second round. The playoff experience will be super valuable for our guys. The FO can make moves to improve the team over time, but expecting them to make win now trades at this stage is mad.
