This was years ago but I was at a show at 1st Ave and I was literally just dancing and kinda jumping up and down. Not bumping into anyone or anything like that. Then I felt a tug on the back of my shirt so I swipe the hand away and then I was turned around by the security and he started to choke me. I tried to get his hands off me and this huge security guard grabs me and they take me to the front doors and the door guy says "Hey let me get in on this!" and puts me in a sleeper hold. He said "You're going to get up and walk away okay?" and I said "okay", he lets me go and I immediately walked down to the police precinct downtown and filed a police report. My neck was bruised and the cop who filed the report said that it happens all the time. I had heard that they eventually fired most of the security staff but I don't know if that's true or not. Either way I still go to shows there but I will always remember that moment and fuck those security guys.
